Just started and putting together a daria deck. Have 2 of her and pretty much everything else except the time levi's. They seem to be 2/2s with an evolve effect for i think 3 dmg spells. Am I supposed to evolve them exclusively? I cant see me evolving 2/2s often or them surviving to make them worth 800 each. Am I missing something that makes these must haves for the deck?

How to make SV fun again.

Well after actually playing Rune, I disagree. He lines up with all the other combos in this game, thus balanced. This game is nuts in General which makes it balanced, think DOTA.

Asking again, why every roach combo list I see is running Selwyn's command instead of mischief? As random as it is, at least mischief can actually deal with late game wards, and not just pretend it is a combo piece.

I'd recommend either Aggro or Midrange Shadow, depending on how you want to play. The lists and playstyles are pretty similar, you use Cerb+Howl and melt the opponents face off.

Cerb is the only leggo for those lists, so it should be relatively cheap to build a game-ai list

No you use bloody Mary on turn 7-10 depending on situation.
So you can drop her and use Razor claw or/and Dire bond for massive face dmg.
Dire bond is probably greatest use since it gives card draw power + heal without taking the 6 dmg first, that instead goes to their face.

Wait I forgot some things, 'make' should be 'makes' and it should be 'enjoy playing it' not 'enjoying play it'.

The first is easier, 'tilting in games' is present tense so you need to change 'make' out of the infinitive form to present tense 'makes'.

The second is making me pull my hair out because holy shit fuck English can be obtuse when you get to the nitty gritty.

Both 'enjoy' and 'play' are verbs. 'enjoying' and 'playing' are both capable of being gerund nouns (verbs that become nouns) or present participles (which can be used as adjectives, nouns, or used in compound verbs). I've sat here the past 40 minutes trying to make sense of it all. At this point I just fucking give up. In this case the proper thing to say was 'enjoy playing it' because fucking reasons. Im trying to work in a more consistent deck but it's halfway there, it needs a lot of testing because I believe that the current standard build posted everywhere got many flaws because it went too deep into the Discard theme, and as consequence it's filled with subpar cards that leads to weak turns.
I will post a deck once I got something I consider solid for ranked after I playtested enough.

It's very good in this meta and it has a lot of enjoyable matchups. Even cblood vs cblood is fun with avoiding lethal and overextending. Just prepare to want to kill yourself if you're against pure elana because those games go to 20+ turns. At least Seraph Elana wins eventually.

It's arguably the 2nd or 3rd hardest deck to play in the game though, because you can actually do stuff like bluff, and you have to know exactly how much damage every other deck in the game is capable of.

Arena players, what do you all think about this conclusion? Did RoB improve balance for 1st vs 2nd? I don't think so myself. While Enhance cards do provide powerful late game effects that can deal with 2nd's evo advantage sooner than the player going 2nd, 2nd also has access to these cards so it evens out regardless. The only way they can fix this balance is either to do make some drastic mechanic that provides a player going 1st some advantageous effect, which would be excessive and could fuck with constructed balance, or to make the # of EP even for both players in Arena. Giving 2nd an advantage in EP is too strong in limited.

Then touch something else, not a core mechanic of the game that makes it unique.
It feels so bad to play an evolve heavy deck and be ALWAYS completely fucked when going first. You should have a disadvantage for being allowed to play your cards and set up first that should balance the game in a sense that at some point it doesn't matter who went first or second, not something that drags you behind the entire game unless you are playing aggro.
That doesn't mean that going first or second shouldn't make a difference, but the additional evo point for the second player is way too strong when combined with the fact that they can play their evolves first as well, since they will always win the "evolve war" unless you are playing something like DShift.

Aggro or Midrange

All shadow lists are a little slower than normal, simply because they have so many tools that allow them to efficiently control the board, meaning Shadow doesn't follow the bloodbat philosophy of face-hitting.

Control Shadow is wonky, with more variation in composition than either aggro or midrange.

Either way, 3x Cerb is somewhat mandatory to play the class, just decide whether the more floody/aggressive aggro or lich-propagating midrange is more your flavor.

Shadow is a fun class that has a lot of bleed-through in-between its archetypes.
