I like Ding Dong a lot more than Sergeant. Ding Dong draws you a card and prevents them from hammering on face as well. The card draw means it's a lot easier to execute sacrifice combos, which is gonna be how you're getting most of your shit done.

It's early in the meta so like most things, there's still a decent chance we could see her popping up in pairs later. A lot of control lists have run her at 2 throughout DE, though none of them ever ended up amazing.

Personally I think you're good to vial her if you're in a rush, she's easier to justify burning than most legends since she's not a game ending card that people typically want to see right away and tends to win games that go to 15 rather than games that go to 9, but still, vialing a playable ever is gambling.

It's not even just the pulls. It's very apparent with the shadow mirror, where both players can curve the exact same but the game is decided on what gets destroyed/what nep summons and so on.

I do think that Shadow has way too much RNG - when you remember that the next biggest RNG card is WotF, it's more egregious. It doesn't make for good design space in a game like SV anyways so I can only hope it doesn't become too strong. I don't want tournaments to be nothing but RNGfests with shadow mirrors.

Balor sits in an uncomfortable cost range.

6PP is dominated by Death's Breath or two-card combos, with a need to control the board since aggro will have you pretty low by t6 and mid-range/control will be setting up their own board. Balor is slower than Mordecai, and just generally not that impactful. Foul Tempest does his job for 3PP

Currently have 500 something games, 300 somethinf wins for Rune, 97 for Blood and 70 something for Sword. I climbed the ladder using DShift post DE because of all the Elanas running around and I play degenerate combo decks in MtG so I felt at home. That said it wasnt easy, sometimes I had to play Banner Memes during critical points just to snipe fast wins.

I feel my MMR is starting to drop hard because of all these losing, AA is pretty shitty

actually it's not a fully meme in the team games with a proper mm, except it (usually) works differently than the whiners think. the goal of dota, lol etc it's to give people fair matches, and here is the catch which people often miss, fair matches it's those which you are supposed to win half of the times, not those which you are supposed to win more often than to lose... regardless of your skll. aka you are supposed to have ~50% winrate because if you are too strong your opponents gets stronger and if you are too weak your opponents gets weaker; i think some shit game like smite might consider to use the actual cheat by giving you bad teammates intentionally but it's unlikely, because it's much easier and more fair to balance by giving you better enemies

I used to think that ward cards were lame, but now I see them as a sort of cock block cause aggro decks are popular and high wards with some atk function basically the same as field clears in function.

My all time favorite is Timeless Witch. I STILL get people going for the face and ignoring her, one guy did it for 3 turns before he caught on. She's also super sexy, stronk and 2cute.
