I'm still refining (IMO Otohime+Sage are still relevant), sometimes I go x3 Albert x1 Tsubaki. Overall this is what I feel is a good middle ground between midrange with a bit of control/removal. After some little tweakings, this is what works the most for me.

Vania never survives for more than one turn unless you play her way after curve. Levi is instantly impactful and constantly pushes for burn every time he hits the field. There's a reason why no one really complains about Vania - she's quite balanced.

That's odd, if it works like you say then it's a big oversight because nothing else in the game works that way. Typically, Nephthys would always have to fully resolve first, meaning Mordecai would be dead but his ability would be on queue, so either he revives before Ghostly Rider and has a chance of getting the ward or Ghostly Rider resolves first and puts the ward on Nephthys before Mordecai comes back.

We should probably expect bug fixes for this.

You dont have to use Mary to combo, just dropping it on 5 and evolving it to trade offers enough of a threat. If they cant kill you on 5 it acts as a ward. Nobody is going to give Control Blood a Mary on 6pp. You can also pop one on T7 for a small Razory Claw combo.

The deck works off chip damage and finishing with Temptress or Bloody Mary+Dire Bond. So running 3 allows you to "waste" them to contribute to the chip damage until you can finish.
