If you're in bronze it's entirely your fault and no one else's. This game is really good about giving players the ability to solo carry. Even my shittiest of shit friends got placed in plat.

I've seen Bronze gameplay. Ster_ did a video on it. You can literally just play Symmetra on either side and run into people and kill them for gold damage and elims.

Don't hoard them, but remember if you fire them at a random enemy in the middle of combat they're likely to be instawoken by your team if you haven't planned it with them in advance.

There are a million little instances like that in the game because the netcode isn't updating fast enough. If you backpedal away from somebody who is running at you with their melee weapon, they'll hit you with it from a mile away because from their perspective you're a lot closer than you really are.

Granted, you do grow to play around all this, but the netcode is the weakest aspect of TF2.

I feel like part of the main reason behind the 3 tank meta is that two of the primary tank picks sort of counter Rein. Their primary fire does good damage to his shield, nevermind their other assets, and then there's Zarya who can still do pretty good DPS to it and if nothing else her bubble counters firestrike pretty hard. So does Dva.
I'm not saying the meta right now entirely revolves around "countering Rein" but when one of the main reasons for such a major meta shift is taking heroes that perform pretty well against him it's not a great indication of balance.

Those two ults work way too differently. Junkrat uses his from cover and explodes it far away from where he is, unless he really want to kill someone near him. Dva will be close to the explosion and if she has enough time to escape, so does the enemy on most occasions. It's already a pretty bad ult unless you combo it with a Graviton, making it dangerous for dva to use it would make it even worse.

Roadhog cant actually hook people through walls. He can hook people in LOS, then because of server lag and the fact that they continue to slide forward with some momentum after they're hooked, they can go around a corner and the chain, because it doesnt have any physical properties in the game, will clip through the wall. But he cant literally throw his hook through a wall. Really blizz needs to fix the chain animation so it shows it wrapping around the wall. Anyway rest in peace being able to jump up in the air and hook bad widows or hanzos off of highground, because apparently roadhog's hook is made of fucking paper and "breaks" whenever it has any extra strain on it. This is genji 2.0 skillcap nerf.

So let me get this straight. I could know theoretically abuse Roadhog's hook by standing near a cliff at a sub-90 angle off the border of the cliffside, hook someone, turn around a little bit, and have them get pulled to being above no ground where they will fall and die?

Probably not, good roadhogs are already able to reliably predict where their hooked targets are going to land, its only the bad ones who have problems with keeping track of where they are when they threw the hook, where they are when the hook landed, etc. if anything, its just going to allow cheesy baddies to wildly throw hooks while spinning like a centerfuge in situations like payload stalling where everyone is close range and you're guaranteed to hit someone, and they'll still get off their kill combo because "le predictable landing spot," whereas before these blind sperg hooks were only good to CC someone for a second because the baddies wouldnt have even the slightest idea where the target was going to actually land.

Seriously? I mean, I know the average layman thinks 4k is exciting and futuristic, but it really isn't all that impressive. Displays aren't going to be good until 5k becomes ubiquitous.

Is it just me, or does the Medium Bastion AI have great situational awareness and accuracy? I've been practicing stuff with a whole bunch of them on both teams for filler, and they're superb for trying to learn how to dodge things/getting away, as they punish you really hard if you let them draw a bead on you. Plus, they're always checking around-like, when they turn into turret mode, they always do a quick 360 during the transition to check for folks.

Symettra has low HP, no heals, and no real damage mitigation so any DPS should be able to kill her quickly as long as she's being focus fired.

I mean you have to consider that an AI always knows where you are no matter what, and they're literally aimbots, like if blizz overtuned them they'd literally be unkillable and they'd never miss. The other thing they do is they know when they're in your crosshairs, so you'll notice that sometimes when you aim at them they'll just kind of magically be repulsed away like you're trying to touch two magnets on the same pole. She has 200 HP and no mobility, you are dying because everyone on your team is not paying attention to her. Whenever I see a symettra wipe out a team, it's because everyone is ignores her or panic fires around her while she builds charge.
