She always had the potential to be strong, she can shut down ults with a simple standard ability, has probably the best mobility in the game and technically the most health even before her health increase (500 + 150, 400 of that being armor).

Her issue was that Zarya was a constant pick and hard countered her. But when Zarya was nerfed, D.va had nothing to challenge her anymore.

Anyone else feel like between 1200 to about 1900 or 2000 SR it's almost always better to play DPS?

Like, I'm not going to lie, I'm a shit DPS but everyone else who plays DPS seems to be even more shittier, I can heal all I want if our soldier gets 2 eliminations per game that's not gonna do much.

I solo carried a lot of games as DPS even if it's shit combos like 5 dps 1 support or something

Whereas if I play rein or support we almost always lose

apparently the SR system gives you different sr depending on what hero you use. because shit heros like torb arent in the meta, fewer people use them and you gain more SR when you win with them. meta heros have alot of competition in the stats so recieve less sr for a win and more for a loss.

trying to get good hits like that is about as hard as headshotting people with junkrats bombs at the same distance. everyone moves too fast.just play him a lot and you'll get a good feel for it. also if you are too close and M2 it still does 50 damage. which is often much more than M1 would at say 8 or 9 meters. Solo q was stuck at 2,800-2,950 for 2 weeks, six stack hit diamond in a night and only ever had draws. I played zarya a bit when I switched of rein, her ults were getting 5-6 kills every time, rein is a bit easier and can counter more shit even tho zarya is a killing machine when played right like if the enemy team has a junk rank

It is why you cannot reliably climb solo comp by remaining silent; you are required to speak with your team and tell them to ignore those two and move up. I started playing barely a week ago and sometimes I feel like in a different world from /owg/. Not sure if because I'm playing on PS4 or just by being a scrub, but spent most of my time in arcade and it has been fun with the mystery hero rounds. Sucks when there's like two Reinhardts on the rival side but it's cool. And didn't play much QP but there's a lot of diversity and I'm often paired with high leveled people (currently lv. 12).

Does it get worse over time or is it just a console thing?

It's based on your performance. If you're playing Zarya you block a ton of damage but also do a lot of damage yourself (if you're good) and you also get credit for damage done to people effected by your ult. Zarya is great for SR grinding (assuming you actually win games with her)
