I'd say hunters do, but it's a mixed bag between vanish/flare/kiting/stunlocking as to who comes out on top ina given fight if it's the rogue who gets the first move.

However, if you're constantly shifting where on the BG the fighting is generally taking place then rogues don't really have time to stealth up and position themselves most effectively, so they end up being a non-threat.

In wpvp though, hunters shit on rogues. Just make sure to lay a trap down behind you before stopping to eat/drink.

You can do ZG with a team that's mostly prebis if they know the strats, and plenty of the gear in there is better than MC.

As long as you're frugal, you should be able to save up enough for when you hit 40 without too much trouble. Just make sure to do plenty of quests with money rewards at 30-40, don't level a crafting profession, don't buy upgrades to class abilities you don't need, and don't buy shit from the AH.

Leveling a rogue to 60 in a combat sword(warrior tier easy to gank) and there were only 2 hunters that killed me so far both of them jumping on me when I was low on hp and in combat with one of them being 60lvl shitter. It's too hard to get away far enough in the duration of a scatter yeah. I'd be leveling as BM though, so instead there's intimidation, and because my pet is insane, i only need to kite a rogue long enough for the pet to have taken its toll.

And as I said, if there might be a rogue around, you should always be laying a trap behind you before stopping to eat/drink. I've had a few hilariously easy kills thanks to that.

unlimited water breathing is a nice lore idea and immunity to poisons is a bad lore idea.

You can craft resistance gear, and the odd good items (nightfall, titanic leggings etc). I'd say the only time it's worth it is if you're either someone who will NEVER raid and thus can't get items from MC/BWL and so on, or if you're hardcore enough to need to able to craft resistance gear. I'm asking whether or not the classes are balanced at a theoretical unachievable skill ceiling. I think rogues are quite possibly the strongest as they have multiple ways to reset or end a fight that doesn't go favorable, similar to druids, but a rogue has more tools for the actual combat and controlling the fight.
