I want to try my placement again after that debacle that ended up with me at Rank 38 (which fuck knows, might be my real rank).

These are my top played heroes (well, kind of, by level at least). The supports I feel comfortable playing are BW, Morales and Malf. I used to play Rehgar back when he was a healbot with wolf as an escape.

Any tips about who to pick when I am stuck first picking? In general, I feel most comfortable as tank.

You build for "give me as much sustain as possible" or making your spooky swing/hand more powerful. Take March only when the other team has a lot of AOE CC like EQ or Graviton or Ring of Frost, etc.

Azmodan's laser mostly needs a change. I feel as if it should have a tiny or no cooldown if you cancel it yourself. But a large cooldown if you get cancelled (silenced, stun etc) It should be 1. a zoning skill, where you constantly laser shit in your area, sort-of like area denial or simply just hitting lots of shit. 2. anti-structure (as it is already)

It needs a rework as it is, though. The only main issue is the cooldown situation. His dunk is pre' gud as it is and his minion (W) could perhaps use a slight buff. Perhaps slightly larger health, additional charge and slightly lower mana--just small stuff.

I also feel as if his trait is more-or-less spot-on. Easy to kill, but great damage if left alone. Having a trait or two baseline are very good considerations too. Especially since Azmo is extremely level/talent dependant.

the game is alright id say that for many people it would actually be more fun than what they are playing now but its very hard to get them to see that and come over, some of the arguments for them to stay with their current games are totally fair im just talking about gaining a decent share from those games

blizzard is doing quite a bit and it definitely is underperforming a lot popularity wise

we will have to see what they can all do as HGC becomes a thing to get it growing and growing. everything needs to be done really well and there need to be more of those promotional events for sure
they literally need to force the game since thats the biggest problem, people not wanting to give it a chance

currently its on such a tight balance that any significant decline can spell disaster as it telegraphs people dont want to watch it and thus others will simply copy that view and think why bother

personally i think they need to run almost constant promotions

I find some really solid picks in quick play are Medic, Raynor and Muradin.

And even if your team doesn't benefit from stim drone the enemy team will always dive super hard just to get to you and wind up trading at least 2 for 1.
Of course there's going to be times when your team isn't getting any kills and you'll run out of mana trying to keep their dumb asses alive- But hey, you win some you lose some.

There's two builds.

Standard, and Cocktail (Q).

Standard:

>Stealth
>AA range
>Go for the Throat
>Movement Speed
>Executioner
>Blunderbuss

Cocktail is mostly the same, you just take every Q talent until 10 instead.

If you can't keep combo up consistently then don't feel bad about taking something over the Movement Speed talent.

I couldn't really tell you much else, since I'm learning the hero myself, except don't greed too hard to keep up combo and get a good sense of when to stop poking and go in.

Go for the Troat is pretty shitty nowadays. It's obviously good against hard to hit squish targets, but in a standard match Marked for the Kill gets you more value.

If you don't have CC, then attack speed on 16 is very good and can take place of executioner, though if you don't have any CC that means you're playing quick match and can win with anything based on coinflip. There aren't many things more fun though, than taking Wisened Duelist in QM and massacring absolutely everyone (you'll learn hopefully).
