Next heroes should be easy to predict.

Valeera isn't on that list, that's from Axolotl's leaks months ago. An anon (Don't know if it was Axolotl or another Blizzard employee, but somebody who frequents this place has some inside scoops) leaked what was going to be revealed at Blizzcon about 24 hours before Blizzcon happened this year, and he said he suspected Zul'jin and Valeera to be announced as well, but he specifically said he doesn't know for sure if they will, and he isn't sure about how finished Valeera is.

So considering he was confident she would be revealed, but wasn't sure how finished she is, suggests she's mostly done and playable.

Daily quests, weekly brawls, grind lv 1 heroes to lv 5, and then grind them to lv 9 after they're all lv 5.

Even if you manage to shit out a bot win every 5 minutes (including queue and loading times), that's 25 gold (with a stim) * 12 times an hour, aka. 300 gold per hour. Gonna take you 3-4 hours of straight grinding for 1k gold, 30-40 hours for one 10k hero.

It's just not worth the time past the dailies for gold grinding.

Supposedly the matchmaking queue for brand new heroes is a little messed up just so queue times aren't so ridiculously long for that player. If you're playing a new hero anywhere near it's release, your queue is given much looser rules, and as such you'll get put against 5-stacks, no Warrior or Support teams, and lower level (Or much higher level) players much more often than you normally would.

This is a fun game with totally balanced matchmaking. Yep. I love being paired with people who clearly have never, ever played their hero and have very obvious issues with basic character control. (And possibly visual impairment) This is further supported when my nova is farming a lane during an objective teamfight to "soak xp" while the enemy nova has a master skin in a 4 man premade. I had so much fun trying this hero out, I will be sure to return to quick match again very soon.

I'm really liking Xul though. I'm still new so I didn't really know how he worked in-game - except that an enemy Xul threw out a scythe one in a while that usually missed because the direction and position is telegraphed so obviously - until I tried him out this week.

Do his skeleton warriors get better in the late game? Early game talents seem to do nothing for them (and more just give him sustain instead in exchange for skill upgrades) and the frost mage ult seems extra situational, though a one-time poison DoT burst doesn't seem that much better when apparently the meta involves a lot of Raynor and fatties like Diablo, at least from what I can tell from the past few threads.

Xul has the best waveclear in the game at level 1, so he's best on maps where there are two lanes relatively close together so he can double soak them. You typically take the skeleton heal at 7 so you can just clear waves forever without backing.

Mages is usually the better ult, but poison nova is good against a lot of melee.

I can't escape you, no matter where I go.

Xul's pretty fun though. He can be pretty sustainable just by clearing waves with Trangoul and Rathmas

Though the skeletons don't really get super crazy unless you invest in their explosion talent and I guess you could theoretically take the one that makes you able to have 6 and make them do more damage but the issue with that is you lose Amplify Damage and putting vulnerability on someone almost always makes it the best talent to take for that tier.

Though Flowing Wounds makes the Q build actually sorta work.

I don't know I've never seen a straight up skeleton build, they're mostly just a nice little bonus that lets you soak some more XP.and the aforementioned sustain.

It's all really dependent on map and comp, maybe you want a teamfight build since investing in a push build is going to get your asshole cleaved apart by Butcher or Illidan or whoever

Blizz said they prioritize fun gameplay niche over brand. That's why we got literal who's Lunaa and Greymane last year. Maybe they had some cool ideas for mechanics that fit Ghom, whoever he is (dunno, don't care for Diablo). Besides, the listdoesn't mean shit. Apparently Blizzard would've liked to just make everyone sit on one global region and then hide which servers they're playing on at any time but shit like Chinese interference and EU regulations make it impossible for them so they just said fuckit and assigned "isolated" regions.

It's why NA + AUS + SEA are all in the same region while China fucks off by itself, and the EU pretends they're special.

I'm sure somebody made some arbitrary decision on how this was to be implemented internally several years ago that we all have to suffer for now.

then, whoever is in danger of dying, that's the person you focus.

Auriel's healing is based on teammate damage so either pick her off first or take out the damage first if you can actually one-shot them (doubtful, so Auriel). ETC is going to get his stun off regardless so you should worry about minimising the damage instead of killing him off before he starts rocking.

If you can kill Thrall before he puts out the slow, you could have a chance 5v4.

Spamming them isn't usually a good idea unless you are losing, then getting the small camps will help your team get space and catch up.

Also, never EVER do boss if the enemy team has any chance of contesting mid fight. Best way to throw the camp. If you want to bait the enemy team into going to check it you can set up nice ganks or force fights that way if you are ahead. Other than that, take it if they have 2 or more down only.
