New map is just so average and sort of thoughtless.

Honestly the only three mildly interesting aspects i've seen of it is the cars at the start of the first phase, the jump pad balcony by the objective point of the first phase and the underground passage of the library phase.

I still think Blizzard is going to stick to low-risk characters for this stuff, though - they're doing this because a vocal chunk of the audience wanted it, I think they're aware that these people will light their asses on fire if they get it "wrong." Overwatch doesn't really have that luxury because it's gotten so much attention for being "progressive," so they have to have certain standards when it comes to these things. If you need an example, look at Bioware - yeah, they had a gay guy in Inquisition and fans liked him, but you had just as many people hating him because the writers had the nerve to give him minor flaws. It's something that needs to be handled with some care if they want to maintain the positive relationship they've forged with that group, and while I could see them getting away with making Junkrat bi as long as there was a really good gay guy, there are enough people that hate his guts that it's not worth making him the gay representation. I don't think they'll bother expanding on his sexual preferences at all, really - he's just not the kind of character they put in the spotlight unless it's to highlight how twisted he is, like Junkenstein.
