Just got my grade 5. Bought my first one and trying to farm some BPs now. I've found Nitanda to be a pretty good spot. You get there really fast and it has like 6 chests at the beginning. But holy shit do the screams fuck me up real hard.

Can I get everything on this floor level? Or do I need to kill Coen first to get other stuff. I get like 200 porkchoppers and no masamune or armor.

Are there any blueprints that let you get the same weapon at a higher level or do I need to grind shit? Only a few of my weapons are able to be upgraded to rank three the rest are at 2 or one. Some weapons that I really like but some of them, like the buzzsaw, have some bullshit requirements.

I thought level 21 wasn't going to be too bad because the enemies started at level thirty but I got fucked.

There's only one blueprint for any type of equipment. Each piece of equipment has 3 tiers. Some weapons skip tiers, so 20-30 you'll probably have to use some different stuff from 10-20.

Yes. Red only drops 30+. There are 2 quests you gain access to pretty early in the 30s that allow you go easily get 2 metals which can help for U-10 and Coen.

The chests in 30+ can also drop black metal, just like the chests in 21-30 can also drop green metal. Thankfully it doesn't happen all of the time.

It's stupidly overpowered for how little investment is needed.

You need 1 turtle, 1 nailgun (any rank) and optimally 1 knife (any rank).

turtleshroom will make it so that 2 nailgun shots instant groggys any enemy, then you can knife goretastic them instantly since the knife goretastic is like half a second long. This set up can beat literally any defense in the game, even if it's some maxed out defender class with 40%/20%/20% HP with diamond decal.

Something has to get changed in the future for TDM. I don't mind this broken combo that much but it makes defenses utterly useless, so less and less people will bother investing in it, especially considering how much better expeditions pay out anyways. That whole system is just in a bad spot right now.

Anyway to fix the annoying music mute bug?

Far as I can tell flame wand is basically just a better fireworks launcher in that all it's good for is cooking stuff on the go.

AI Haters seem to just dodge it or punish you for shooting with it since it doesn't stun.

Iron on the other hand is useful for killing bosses for the majority of the game, and pretty safely shreds armor.

Hi! New to Let it Die. Just beat the Floor 10 boss and explored a bit of the "surface". After losing a fighter I can tell that dying and just paying my way back is no longer an option. Woo. It was a good free ride while it lasted.

Anyways, had a question. In between floors, while "climbing" the stairs I sometimes go for cigarette breaks. I know there are those body disposal people that come and fuck shit up after a certain amount of time. I somehow encountered one briefly into a level once,and then a cutscene played.Not sure if that's just part of progression or not. Anyways, was wondering if time in between floors counts towards the time for them to arrive.

Is there a trick to making targets ransomable?

Send your spare fighters on expeditions to the highest floor you can (and once you reach Kaga 16F, on Okusa rotation send them there), and leave the KC rewards in the reward chest, up to 50 of them can be left there. This is un-raidable money that you can hoard to deal with salvage costs when you need it.

The Okusa expeditions bring back golden snails, which you can also bank - either eat them to give new fighters experience, or sell them for 7400 each, another form of un-raidable money.

Time spent on escalators does not contribute to the Jackal timer, I work on the spreadsheet a lot on escalator/elevator rides.

It's 10% of your KC/SP, so basically just make sure not to leave yourself with a desirable amount. Anything over 4000 is generally a target, maybe lower at lower tiers.

It's not that defending's not worth it, it's that it just doesn't work. They allow mushrooms in there, and the AI is garbage, so pretty much anyone with half a brain can breeze through whatever the fuck defense you bother fielding.

Honestly with the scythe it's just my own curiosity. First step it's just plain not very good, and I imagine it'll stay that way, but I'll keep grinding away at it for the off-chance that it'll turn crazy eventually.

That and I'm keeping track of flora/fauna, blueprint drops, anything new for the spreadsheet, boss/gold chest droprates, mushroom stews (322 in, still haven't gotten the good ones)... The green bar is your team and red is the opposing team. I presume your side in the war will always be shown to you as the left/green. In any case, it's Australia with the ~176k points, and you can hover over the other team in the map to see the sides and scores get reversed.

I don't like it. It'd be one thing if rooms could connect to each other like say, Binding of Isaac, but it's a whole heap of one way paths and forks that don't connect back, which makes it a pain in the arse to go back to an earlier fork if that's the one you needed after exploring the rest of a level. Especially if you're nearing Jackal time.
