Being able to position and kite effectively, while harassing well in lane isnt that easy. Good ADC players are some of the most mechanically gifted people there are in LoL.

That being said, its a team dependant role quite often and rhe majority of adcs have a 1v5 mentality and the only thing they have is mechanical skill. No game knowledge or strategy of any kind.

No, playing that role is like signing up to be brutally tortured. I honestly have no idea why people do it willingly do it because the impact adc has on the outcome of a game, especially in season 7, compared to the kind of work the player has to put in to get results is ridiculous. A half-mediocre first time rengar or khazix could have more of an input on the direction of a game than an adc player because of hoe shit the role is until like 6 item teamfights.

Alright guys, I'll tell you how to escape silver. When your jungler comes towards your lane: attack the enemy. The enemy now has 2 choices: flee or attack. If he flees, you get free harass. If he attacks, the jungler ganks him. It's a win/win situation. You dont have to wait for your jungler to engage the fight.
Also, it doesnt matter if there is a ward. You can still gank someone if he has a ward down. You just have to start attacking him before the jungler gets into ward-vision.

Just had one of those "uncarryable" games that happens from time to time.

You know who's really fucking oppressive with a massive lead? Caitlyn. She took both my bot lane towers by 11 minutes and both my ADC and my support were 0/6 by the end of the game. The end of the game was at 18 minutes by the way. When she gets that fed, that quickly there was seriously fuck all we could do to stop her from taking towers as she pleased.

Smite on adc makes sense, depending on the champion. Say MF for example. She can push a lane with a wave clear support with just an e and receive all the farm. She can then fuck off and do krugs/gromp and get back to lane and have an exp+farm advantage. Vayne can take just skirmish smite and all in her lane now because she is unstoppable in a duel because she cannot be bursted and she is burning with free true damage.

They don't let me help them, I can't force myself in to take kills when they don't fight around me, I can't kill squishies because their hecarim goes out of their way to kill me, I can't splitpush because my team ends up dying when they had 10 kills up on the enemy team, and the fact that I'm playing Rengar makes all the squishies NEVER EVER leave each other's sides, effectively making me useless since I can't pick anyone as Picks: The Champion.

I'm going back to playing tank junglers since playing assassins apparently doesn't work for me since I have to rely on everyone else so I don't die instantly.
