I try my hardest to climb in this game but I get so incredibly unlucky it's unreal. I have so many autolosses against me and extremely few in my favor. The few games that are actually even are so fucking hard, like I just can't get enough leeway in this game. This is the primary problem with league design right now. They could make a good game, they've done it before, but as soon as you have a good game it becomes a shit spectator game.

A good moba has predictable games because it's strategically sound, it should be apparent which team is performing better in

Riot's also guilty of making champions and doing changes designed around one meta and going into a completely different direction fucking over the champs that could only do well in that meta. Instead of highlighting what champs will be good, which will be bad and which will be neutral, they instead focus on what champs will be good and how to make the champs that aren't as good get better.

So many possible champions getting shafted because "muh 'x' rework" and doing nothing for those champs that have to deal with them.

I understand why they reworked him and I think I'm one of the only people that preferred his old design. I played AD Sion and had a ton of fun with it, although it was never good.

This is a lot more subtle but they have completely changed how you play Veigar even though it seems like they didn't change his abilities that much.

They've turned his stun into a supporting ability and zone controlling ability instead of an offensive ability you can use to catch champions that fuck up their positioning. This has made his W even harder to land in any scenario that isn't teamfighting.

The changes to his Q have made it so he can't harass people down in lane unless the opponent is really dumb. He can't actually one shot people he has to lower their hp in order to do that and he also can't really force a scenario where a stun lands and he can unleash a combo by himself. He has to wait for a gank or a fuckup.

Essentially what they've done is made him great at farming up AP by himself or while laning and given him good scaling and teamfighting ability but he is rather useless in lane by himself.

Old Veigar was an assassin, he was a hunter, you farmed up AP and watched positioning like a hawk because anything that extended into the killzone of your stun range at low HP was in threat of dying. You could harass people down with q and e + w + q and get them in range of death so they had to go back.

You could instantly stun people when ganking and kill them. In teamfights he was a character that was truly an assassin able of picking a person off before a fight even began WITHOUT actually initiating a fight himself.

The problem with his rework isn't his viability. Its that they took a champion and turned it into a different champion. So I'm highly sympathetic with Morde players now.

I'd rather have champions be shitty than reworked.
