So I finished a mock-up in wfbuilder, ended up with pic. The extra duration sounds nice, but would it be worth it to pop more damage on there instead? The most we can say is there's some small spark of self-preservation they display during a moment in Second meme but even that could have been the influence of the tater through proxy.

Not bad but since you're running a Despoil build it might be worth looking at Energy Conversion over Transient Fortitude since you should be able to nab an Energy orb between castings and that ups your Shield power almost as much without a reduction to power duration.

For the Exilus slot I'd go Cunning Drift to get a little bit of extra Despoil and Shield range, or Power Drift if you want to make up the little bit of power strength you lose from a Transient Fortitude -> Energy Conversion swap.

It works great on Nekros because you can about guarantee you'll get an energy orb between castings.

It's replaced Transient Fortitude on a lot of my channeled builds but it's especially great on Nekros.

I wouldn't use it over TF everywhere but it has a niche and is, I think, under-appreciated. Probably because of the amount of Simaris rep you need to get it and the bonus being not as immediately as obvious as that of Health Conversion. +Armour is something completely new, +Power Strength is on a bunch of things.

To be fair to Steve he does seem to take things on-board when he interacts with the players.

There just seems to be an echo chamber going on at DE (unsurprising, it happens with every company) so all that needs to happen is getting him away from that long enough and you get a good result.

I still remember that time he guest starred on Prime Time and the whole thing turned into a live bug/feedback report. He looked gutted by the end of it because he'd seen that what he'd intended to do hadn't worked, and to their credit they actually made a lot of good changes based on that.

I'm not super into punch-through on the AkStilettos so I'd put a Primed Heated Charge there.

Would also use Heat as my second element, so after swapping Frostbite to Jolt I'd put Scorch in in place of Stunning Speed too. Or if you like your build, move Frostbite over to where Stunning Speed is and put Jult in its place and max out Seeker.

If you don't have Primed Ravage I believe that you need to build for pure damage to compete with a Scattered Justice normal Hek's DPS.

Also feel free to ditch Seeking Fury for something else. I'd like to use Chilling Reload more but the Punch-Through/Reload combo on Seeking Fury is quite nice.

Some range is good for his 1 and the reach on his 2 and 3 even if it doesn't do much for his 4. Some people don't like it because it increases the travel time on his 1 before you can recast it but I find it helps to build more stacks faster.

Steel Fibre is a good bet because he's a health-only frame. Rage too for the same reason.

I like building duration for his 3 and 4 too.

Whirlwind augment would basically be Turbulence. Plenty of 'frames get by without some kind of damage mitigation and her health/shields aren't bad by any means.

Upon reflection, I really don't like the idea of just spamming a crowd of tornadoes, and as much as I like the idea of a controllable one, it just don't sit with me. 3 will fire off a tornado in a direction. It'll have a grabbing range of one meter, and hold and grind any enemies that pass into it. Tail Wind will allow you to wrap the tornado around you as a shield, improved by the amount of damage that it has done to enemies, with the ability to stack multiple tornadoes until you get a perfect shield, with the caveat that refreshing your shield requires you to use a baseline 75 energy ability in conjunction with a baseline 25 energy ability, unlike someone like Rhino who can do it with 50 and has an invulnerability period. Augment will be controllable tornado.

Power Strength would make Storm Eye's deflection property stronger, I'm thinking 25% was probably too low, and 33% would be a better baseline to work with. The idea would be that compared to Bastion, it has no limit on enemies it can bar, but doesn't outright incapacitate them, and unlike Snow Globe doesn't have health to deplete and runs on a timer, but doesn't block all the projectiles. Any Tornadoes spun into it will act as a rotating shield, where in addition to pulling enemies close for a quick slap of damage when it passes by them, it'll also have a 100% chance of blocking all projectiles for as long as the Tornado lasts, but only as it passes by.

The biggest issues with Zephyr at the moment are that her Tailwind is meaningless with Parkour 2.0 and Dive Bomb is something that should happen if you aim at the ground and press 1, not be a skill by itself. Tornado isn't just of questionable utility, even when it is working it can make your life and that of the squad's more difficult by flinging the enemy off to god knows where.

That just leaves Turbulence, plus or minus Jetstream and Tonkor.

She's pretty much the definition of a one-dimensional, fuck-you-I-got-mine frame at the moment. All she can do is meme with a Tonkor and be unhittable by three factions, with a tiny niche for defenses if she's willing to hump the defense target the whole time to deflect bullets with Turbulence.

Any changes made in theme with her will still need Turbulence as a damage mitigator. Because, again, CC is unreliable at best, an active detriment most of the time, and she has no other way to stay alive.

I say this as someone with not one but two Zephyrs (also three Oberons because fuck you, I find goatman hilarious) and a stupid-ass Divebomb +Divebomb Augment + Heavy Impact build I drag out for Infested Defence missions on open maps.

She doesn't need to become Loki-tier ZOMGWTFBBQ amazing or anything but her 1 and 2 desperately need to be addressed.

no. It takes 60? energy to cast 1, and once energy refunded that dips close to 20 or 0 or even gain you energy. With Prime Flow, you can cast your 1 eight+ times assuming ZERO refund. That's a huge energy buffer. Using Rage further provides sustainability, though I'm not sold on Rage yet.

Nidus's 1 can not be recasted while it travels. It travels at a set rate through its whole distance, with decent punchthrough.

His 2 can not be recast while active, and does not cappture new targets, meaning after all grabbed targets are dead, the rest of duration is wasted, turning into arbitrary cooldown

His 3 has to be recasted regularily unless you are camping

His 4 has preset range and only really works when you manually pop maggots

it's the best vehicle for CL, yes, but barely more so than the ceramic dagger considering the shared attack speed and how generally worthless the gimmicks are (especially because stealth finishers being clunky as fuck or literally impossible for some enemies is bound to get you caught if you're not abusing them with some mass CC even with the reduced visibility range, because DE hates stealth)

Ehh... it can be? Having it out neuters their detection radius but you need the aug on it to really get the most out of its special ability, and if you have the aug on it you run the risk of the Viral burst alerting the enemy and ending your stealth chain.

I kinda prefer the Ceramic Dagger due to its attack speed. But you do what works for you and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

1) No SS, because literally ANY FRAME can kill lv100 grineer with SS. SS is not a fucking Saryn build.
