I've just started practicing with Sombra. She seems a lot more viable than people make her out to be. She's honestly just a little harder to use. It's taken me a fair amount of practice to become useful as Sombra.

I could go into detail about how she "really" works, but I'll just say you gotta git gud. For a hero like Ana to be fully effective, you have to be constantly doing work with her. Sombra is kind of like that but with a bit more need for precision.

If you put the same effort into playing Reaper,Tracer or 76 you would be getting far greater results at whatever role you are playing her as. She has a great kit that is destroyed by how they were implemented so no matter how well you manage to play with her you are doing worse than if you had spent that time with some other character.

A God-tier Sombra is going to have less of an impact on a game than a merely good Tracer,McCree,76 or virtually any other DPS or harasser.

Heal block is a stupid mechanic. In WoW, only one class had it originally (warriors), and it was 50%. Then they gave it to some other classes without self-heal. But not to classes who could heal. It's a thing that either no one or everyone should have, but if everyone has it, why not just nerf all heals?

In OW they went full retard and made it 100%, gave it the most powerful healer and gave it also 3 other effects.

I have found Sombra to be more useful than /owg/ had me believe as well. Reinhardt and Zarya are in a lot of games, and the ability to instantly delete their barriers in a team fight can really turn the tides.
