That right there is proof we'll be more information eventually about both of them. So far they are the only inter-team connection of any significance. Dva players often over exert themselves so their health depletes before their eyes. There are limited things you can do even as a tank. Your main role is supposed to push and protect. If you go full DPS you're destined for a defeat.

You have a displayed SR and a hidden SR.

Your displayed SR is just that, the SR you have in competitive that you can see.

Your hidden MMR is weird. It has been around as long as your account has been around. It is influenced by everything you do, not just competitive. All of the variables that make up hidden SR are only known by the matchmakers at Blizzard.

What happens is that your moves in displayed SR are tied to your hidden MMR. If your hidden MMR is lower than your displayed SR, your wins won't give you as many points and your losses will hit your displayed SR higher. The reverse is true as well, if your hidden SR is higher than your displayed SR you will get more points for wins.

Season 3 intentionally places your displayed SR below your hidden SR for placements so that you can climb for your first 20-30 matches as your displayed SR catches up to your hidden SR.

So heres the thing. I play Overwatch on a laptop and what I discovered was it uses raw input for the default device or whatever it considers the touchpad. It was still using acceleration on my plug in mouse.

I don't know if this is an issue specific to my laptop which has had issues in the past with Overwatch or if it's just the general way that it works. But if you have a laptop and are using a plug in mouse then I would advise turning off mouse acceleration because the game might be using it.

Fun and looks nice but can get very repetitive at times. Several abilities are very annoying to fight against and you've got the usual blizzard balancing. The game should be supported for a good amount of time and you don't have to pay for future maps or heroes. Non-event updates have been a bit slow. Game is super fun for about two weeks then it becomes a major drag in every single way.
I bought it when it was on sale and I don't regret it but boy fuck does it have a lot of problems. Let me get started on my bitch list :

It feels like there's not many maps, all maps are basically just a linear corridor with fluff along the way, some areas of the map are literally the only way through and it's a cramped chokepoint with no option to go around it. These are by far nothing like TF2 maps which actually had a great deal of thought put into their design; the people making it knew what "game flow" was.

80% of the player base is made up of the absolute stupidest people I have ever seen in any video game without a doubt. I have played video games for over 20 years now, nonstop.
It's like a combination of underage gmod players and dota 2 assfaggot fucks.

You won't notice it at first but after a while of playing more precise heroes it will become obvious there are some major hitreg problems with bullets flatout flying straight through people and not doing damage at times. It's uncommon but not rare. Small problems like trying to target Reaper's shadowstep and get Genji's deflect to properly register will add up and become seriously aggravating in games where you're having a hard time already.

You'll likely stop playing after a month or two if you don't have a friend to play it with on and off.

Last about 150 base lvls in mostly Mystery mode.

I enjoy it because of the variety - I get to play all sorts of different things and no one is going to cry about it or talk shit.

As for the snowballing - people treat Mystery as if the goal of the map doesn't count anymore, so they do stupid shit like try to spawn camp or "ambush" the attackers, play outside the proper defense point, etc. Genuine rolls happen due to RNG yes, but they would balance out eventually if people could intelligently fall back and group up.

Tl;dr - play proper map strategy, don't sweat the snowballs, at least they're over quickly
