Like every passive participant you overestimate the depth and skill ceiling of the game you fanboy over. There aren't that many inputs. It doesn't require that much practice. Everyone has their ups and down, and you can't magically reach 100% consistency. The simple formula to follow is that once you feel you're comfortable with something, there's no point overpracticing. You just need confidence during runs.
