Anyone know how to use rtss? I installed it to fix the stuttering that vanilla has, but I dont know how the fuck to make it work. I tried to hook it and all different kinds of settings, but shit isn't happening.

All servers have different degrees of broken mechanics, keep in mind these people literally do it for free.

As for your last question, im rolling Fresh, but im keeping a hesistant backup on kronos, just incase this server turns to ass.
Many of the drama regulars here are rolling fresh, both alliance and horde so pick your poison.
Try not to keep all your eggs in one russian basket.

Fresh will be identical, if not more populous than old.
I will admit that having a server with a population that breaks the game opens up new WoW territory that wasn't present in actual Vanilla.
One example is the Open Season on China people. In regular vanilla this would have never happened, but because of the yellow menace, we see players on both factions working together to fight the xiaos.
Another example is the Un'goro Mafia, a faction-spanning arguably multi-national guild/cartel that restricts the amount of devilsaur leather that reaches the market, inflating the price.
In vanilla WoW, a high pop server wouldnt have crazy competition over devilsaurs but since we are nearly 3 to 4 times higher than a high pop server, unique groups like this form.
Theres also events like players queuing up in literal lines to get drops for specific mobs (think imp quest for warlocks)

So Nost is unique because of this, but then again you get average pings of 200-400, you get chinese literally standing on lotus spawnpoints, and you get level 60s constantly ganking anywhere that can be ganked.

Primal WoW has low pop, its a progressive server with like 300 people max, I believe its still in vanilla right now.
Warmane best known for Icecrown, but theres talk that they fake their numbers, the true population isn't 12k, but its still very high (anywhere from 8k to 10k).
Don't know how many are actual bots or czechs or whatever.
Also its a WotLK server so thats practically heresy around these parts.

I joined a gold farming guilt in retail WoW back during TBC. It was pretty funny because I just typed in broken english and told them my client wouldn't allow me to type in chinese characters.

The fucker actually believed me and got his guild mate to invite me. I have no idea what they were doing because they actually did a lot of communication in guild chat but spoke in chinese and were all cross farming in different areas all day.

Holy Paladins weren't the best single target healers, both in terms of sustainability and throughput. They had no AoE healing. They had no strong burst healing outside of popping AW/DI. Their only redeeming features were Beacon of Light, which only made a small difference on the very few multi-tank fights of the expansion and Sacred Cleansing which only was somewhat useful on Yogg0. Everything else could either be brought by Ret/Prot Paladins or by other healers.

DKs were overpowered as fuck until ToC and still generally better than everyone else at everything until Cata. Prot/Ret Paladins were pretty good, although Prot still lacked the core tools to be considered a real tank (no interrupt, no real single target taunt, no 50%DR cooldown, no mobility, etc, etc). Warriors were still amazing DPS and great tanks.

But Holy Paladins fucking sucked. I should know, I played one and raided as one and even did a bit of PvP as one at WotLK launch.
