First 5-0 ever on my last arena ticket after sucking massive amounts of dick the previous games. I think this was my first time playing Sword in arena as well. Feels good man.

I had like a constructed deck though. Olivia, Satan, Frontguard, Alexander a bunch of 2 drops and even a banner thrown in, so I got pretty lucky with the draft.

Because it's a deck that's otherwise built to god-curve out in order to have a chance at beating the likes of PtP Forest and D-Shaft without compromising the Mid-Sword mirror (Aurelia in response to Floral followed by Otohime into Sage is usually enough to just completely BTFO people), and while like I said I used to have Olivia for those longer games I'll have those games where I get excited at topdecking her only for it to be followed up with pulling Vanguard and Lancer or something else from my low curve and just feel very sad.

Leonidas, on the other hand, is a bigass minion in of himself with Last Word: "I FUCKING WIN" and while I've certainly had my games where I go "Fuck, I wish this was a 6/6 with rush" I love the big lug too much to cut him.

While I'll admit Fencer is pretty garbage off-curve (If you actually can't land the buff on curve then you've got bigger problems) when ON curve her "little buff" lets Vanguard trade into 2/2s without even dying, 1/1s trade up into those 2/2s, and 2/2s to trade favorably against 2/2s or maybe even a 2/3. That's amazing for grabbing hold of the board by the balls in the opening turns before either side can evo and have the advantage going into said evo turns, which is far more valuable to me than just reducing the risk of a bad draw by a small margin or synergizing with a card that isn't coming out until turn 6 or 7.

That said, I'm thinking I'll just cut her and Vanguard from the list entirely once the expansion hits, 3 mana 3/2 with rush fits her role just fine without compromising Maid Leader's "Fanfare: Pull one of your best cards from your deck" and that sad little 1 mana 1/2 just doesn't have much reason to exist otherwise.

Anons please help. I want to get the sleeves but I missed most of the month and I have to get like 6k points more to get the final sleeve. The problem is that every second game is Haven and all they do is heal and that shit takes forever. Their entire game is stalling and if I lose I just wasted a lot of time and if I win I still wasted a lot of time trying to get that 100 points. The last game I played was against Dshift and the man took so long for his moves I swear he was sitting there with a piece and paper trying to add up damage for his final combo.
What's a really fast deck in this game? I want to end my games fast, either by rushing down the enemy or if I can't kill them, just by dying fast as a result. I'd rather have a specific deck recommended too, because I'm trash at creating decks. Low price would be a bonus too because I'm not sitting on all that many vials.

What do any of those things have to do with shadow generation anyway? Have you ever even played 2/2 spartoi against Haven? That'll be your Sexton in 9/10 games. The other 1/10 it'll actually be worse since it'll eat a hawk and you won't get a fanfare shadow from it.

Nah, Albert is going to be a must have for every Sword deck along with Aurelia and 6 cards is pretty crowded as it is at the 5 mana slot. Besides, never really been fond of cards that read "Either you evolve my ass or all I am is a vanilla minion on curve", it's why I'm so eager to replace Floral with Amelia who gets the same sort of value just straight up without playing into Aurelia in a mirror match (Plus a 5/6 can do a lot of work in a world where most evolved 4s are 4/5s) and Jeno who's built in rush means he can actually be fucking played going first without it just being a way to hand evolve value over to your opponent like an idiot.

Are you planning to replace all of your Floral Fencers with Amelia?

One of the reasons I think Floral is so good is because, unlike most common 4 drops, she can be evolved on an empty field and her effect is still works. Amelia requires your opponent to have 3 cards on the field in order to get value. I can see myself playing 1 or 2 of her, but I don't see her replacing Floral in any decks.

You're not wrong there, I'll give you that, but it is INCREDIBLY rare for there to be absolutely nothing on your opponent's side on-curve going second (Or otherwise be removable with what you have on board). Assuming you're trading into their 3 mana 2/3 or 3/2 suddenly cards like Baldy, Siegfried/Dragon Warrior, or Wardrobe Raider to be able to just ruin your day by surviving with 3HP against your lonely little 1/1 token and then you're forced back to square 1 in taking control of the board. If this is Off curve then all I can say is that I feel incredibly sad evolving a 4 mana minion instead of Sage or Otohime or Aurelia, and spending both a card AND an Evo just to "make an okay board" only for it to get removed is such a waste of an evolution point.

It's not JUST Amelia replacing Floral, it's Jeno doing half of what you're always trying to do with Floral without using an evolve while Amelia does the other half ALSO without an evolve and with better stats on both sides if you do end up using it.

Also, on a lesser thought, I'll try cutting Fervid since my earliest Commander at that point in my list is a 4 mana card that gets extra value if your opponent has control of the board. The new Samurai looks pretty sick, Fighter on curve is still Fighter on curve and bane is nothing to sneeze at for making it still pull its weight later in the game.

Not after the expansion. Death Breath is great but it is going to be even easier to remove in one card now. Charon gives you a 2 body 10/11 which is a great answer to turn 4 evo and something really awesome for pushing the tempo.
