Seems like PS4 "HENkaku" app may be in the works!

So, i'll fill you all in quickly, yesterday, user Red-EyeX32 posted on his twitter that we will be getting PSProxy Source code and decrypted .PKG files for PS4. For those who're not up to date with the PS4 scene, .PKG files are pretty much the equivalent of .VPK for PSVita.

The thing is that once he announced that he was going to release .PKG files, everyone started wondering what version would this be for, and answered that this would work in "All" PS4, meaning that he probably has found a way to bypass SAMU. What is SAMU you ask? SAMU is an encryption process that works in a separate processor which is very protected and very hard to enter. EXACTLY last month, Red and other users hinted in tweets that they had gained control over SAMU, meaning that nearly every content made for PS4 can be decrypted, yes, that includes the games.

It seems that there will be a talk tomorrow day 27th and PS4 hacking with be one of the main focus, but I haven't found proper info on whether it will be livestreamed or we'll have to wait until info comes online by people who attend the talk.

I'll keep y'all informed!

UPDATE:

In order to not be killed by everyone by using the ping yet again today, i'll just update this. @DAIstian has informed me that the talk is going to happen in the CCC event in Germany, concretely 27th December at 23:00 GMT+1 afterwards that time, they should upload the talk to their youtube channel. The focus seems to be PS4 and Linux, but they may also address what Red has talked about.

So I downloaded a pokemon sun .cia yesterday, installed onto my 3ds with fbi, and it was working fine until I pressed the qr code reading thing on the menu in hauoli city, at which point the thing crashed. Now whenever I try to boot up sun, I just get a gray screen and get sent back to the home menu with the "an error has occurred" crash message. Is it the .cia that's the problem? Is there a way to get my save back?

You need to use QMCA first, in airplane mode, so the PS3 doesn't prompt you to update.
After you've been able to connect to your PC using that, just unplug and stick it in your PS3

Would it be possible to port the Android Runtime to Vita? Since the code is open source, BlackBerry was able to make their own interpretation that had pretty good performance for even 3d games.

With the Vita's ARM architecture, I doubt there would be severe incompatibilities with the code, plus it would be a great way to get Rockstar's back catalog, as well as Half-Life, Portal and the other numerous 6th gen ports on the play store. Something I forgot to mention

Since I have Retroarch eperience on PC, I knew a fix for this

When you play any game and save then leave RA, your save will not actually write and you lose progress

This is because RA is coded to write when it closes but not crashes, leaving the app does not surffice as a safe exit do saves do not write

Now to change this is easy, go inside the RA menu > Saving > SaveRam Autosave interval

in the GUI, the max you can go to is 10 which is shit

2.1.0 is a cooked firmware (not official FW) that is used to inject A9LH into NAND.
During this step in the guide there is an option in Decrypt 9 to remove your SD card without powering off the device.
Once you install A9LH you'll be using Decrypt 9 to restore the firmware you had from the beginning which will do away with 2.1.0
After you do that step you'll be installing Luma which will allow you to update to the latest official FW.

By the end you'll have a permanent entrypoint into NAND so even if you brick it by being fucking retarded, which you are, so you can recover from brick.

Ok, thank god. I restarted the system and back to 3.60. I guess that was the spoofing that wasn't working. I deleted molecule because I couldn't make a folder and when I tried installing Henkaku again it told me I was on 3.63.
