So what exactly is a bad draw for Pirates Warrior right now? Four out of my last five games where against them and I lost them all, with every start being different and the last game being dealt 30 damage turn 4. I've never seen them have to play slow and it's starting to become pretty insufferable

I'm considering crafting Kazakus, since I mostly play reno lock and I unpacked Inkmaster Solia the other day, so I could try reno mage.

My question is: is it worth it to spend my hardly earned dust in a legendary that might not be good enough once Reno rotates out of standard? considering the first 2017 xpac can be expected around march/april

Wall of text incoming, here's my advice:

You can reroll once quest a day so always reroll 40 gold quests, reroll 50 gold quests if you can't meet the requirements (some require cards you might not have to complete) and always do quests that give 60 gold or more, or a card pack.

You don't have to do quests every day, but you should do it every 3 days at most. Check your quests every day for new ones though, reroll if necessary.

Buy classic packs until you get a big enough collection, make sure you do the quests for free cards from the new expansion.

Arena is more efficient for building your collection if you're a good player, but it's also a lot slower than just buying packs and only gives you packs for the newest expansion.

Play the Tavern Brawl every week unless it's a really shitty one, it's a free card pack.

Blackrock Mountain, Grand Tournament and League of Explorers are rotating out of standard format once the next set of cards is released, which should be around February to March of next year so you probably don't want to invest heavily into any of them.

First wing of Blackrock and League are definitely worth getting though so I would save some gold for it and buy those first before anything else, but someone else might disagree.

The game is pretty grindy at first so it'll take you a couple of months to build up with a decent collection. Learn to save your dust, don't just craft any random shit. Look up crafting guides and decks, then craft the cards you want. If you haven't decided on which class you like best, craft neutral ones and classic is preferable to expansion unless you need some specific ones.

ou might want to consider getting the welcome bundle for $5 since it's the best deal you can get in the game, but it's also a slippery slope down pay2win mountain so don't do it if you want to keep it casual and free2play unless you know you have the willpower to stop spending money on it past that point.

You're pretty much a retard. I've been playing Reno mage since before kazakus, and you absolutely need reno to win against aggro. You can clear and stall all you want, but they will chip you down, it's just the fact of the fucking matter. As for priest, yeah, they can do some healing, but after being brought down 38 health in 4 turns, I really don't think it's enough, even if they can get to turn 6 to play anything but reno. Anyone who unironically thinks reno decks will still be around after he is gone is fucking retarded, there is no card they could make that would even come close to helping them fill the health for 25 gap

I wanted to reply with "if they're competent, they won't," but this is Team5 we're talking about.

The main reason they can't print more highlanders is because Gadgetzan will rotate out in the first set of 2018, but printing another highlander in 2017 means it won't rotate out until 2019 so they basically trap themselves into having to continue printing them. Like you said, Renolock is the only one that'll fall apart while Mage and Priest can probably continue playing highlanders until they rotate out.

That being said, I'll really miss Reno simply due to how unique he was as well as opening up fun deck building possibilities since you could use him in any class whereas the new highlanders are all class restricted.
