What's point of gaining mmr if you're not getting good at the game?
You will hit a plateau at some point so you might as well do it with playing different heroes instead of playing one.

PPD has the mechanical skill of 3k player but can play a variety of heroes from cuck support to carry in 7k mmr range.

Cleave barely changed though, it's now a cone with pretty much the same area - the Ember change to his SoF was actually good because it randomly placed him around the target.

So is it just me or does the 750 ms weaver talent basically give him an extra item slot?

I've had 3 games that have drawn out, and I just cannot justify boots when that talent exists. Sure, you keep a set of travels in your backpack, but you can still use 6 big items.
