basically how'd you beat Coen if you didn't know Coen was blind. Really, just roll away from his attacks. His missile attack is a little tricky to dodge.

If I'm not mistaken, roll to the opposite side of of his body when he throws a punch. If you're worried, just test it out on Tamata's Coen.

Also, he also takes damage from the electrified fence around the fighting arena, so you may be able to use that to your advantage.

Just beat the first real big bossu and unlocked T2 characters. Should I level one up? When's the next Tier gonna unlock and what would be the best course of action from here on out? The boss itself wasn't too hard but the gauntlet leading up to it fucked with me quite a bit.

Not sure if anyone's found this already but I found a gold chest in F35 Wakaba. I got there by rushing to Obara, Tengokuji, then Wakaba.
The ambush it triggers is a bunch of scratch tubers, 1 hover tuber, and 1 pitching machine screamer.
Some things I wanna note is that I had to unlock a boss lock in Tengokuji. I don't remember which boss unlocks it. I could be wrong on these last two things but there's a area golden building and fountain where if you walk into it, a gate locks you in forcing you to go to or stay in Nitanda where Coen is. I think is shortcut is only available during this snail rotation too.

Looking at the enemy, it was probably either COEN or Max, which even though it is a mach has a very traditional ONI design, and the female fighter has a very Bravely Default Flying Fairy clothing design.

Its set in a city but the appearence of characters and enemies seems to be a lot more ANIME SUGOI and a lot less garage warrior.

You can actually just floor hop on floor 1 to get the 20 kills. The Hater never moves from its spot and the only way you can lead an enemy into him is if it spots you specific and runs in its line of sight, so you can kill like five enemies, go up an escalator, and just repeat.

I don't think they thought those "Kill x amount of enemies in a row without switching weapons" quests through too much since you can do everything on floor 1 and they give silly rewards like Death Metals and good materials.

For instance, Flower, Sun, and Rain was almost the death of GM because the gaming arm of the company it was attached to shut down, leaving them without a real distributor, so Suda and friends had to go door-to-door to find someone who would help them release FSR to the public.

And don't worry, there are English translations to all the text blurbs located in the back of the volume.

Probably. If you're not in Commiefornia though, dev raids are most likely permanently gone. From the way things seem to go, your rank is determined by the formula someone posted a few thread back:

(x-1) * 15 + n
x being your highest grade fighter
n being the number of fighters you have in that grade

So the highest rank you can achieve is 70, with 10 grade 5 fighters.

Raids give you a list of 50 available targets within 2 of your rank, so at max rank, 68-72. Dev raids only show up when there are not 50 available targets. Commiefornia may still see these at max rank, but those of us not in that shithole are flooded with rank 68+ Commiefornians, more than enough to fill the list consistently.

There are problems with most 5* weapons, so in some ways the 4* one is better.

Basically, while their attack is higher, they lose attack based on durability faster, it's almost a linear 100% > 0% progression matching the durability bar.
