I've been purposely watch nothing of Nier 2 and I'm wondering if the Nier demo is just a level taken from the game or if its intended to be played before release.

Gameplay feels like Platinum, and that means it feels like a step up from Nier, but it also seems to have what you'd expect from Nier gameplay wise too (bosses and bullet hell, weapon switching, and magic abilities of which I assume there are multiple though you only use one in the demo but I'd assume there are multiple like there were in the first game). Good stuff.

Music seems top notch, characters seem interesting. Demo doesn't give much info on what's happening story wise and seems to be the same demo used at most game shows, but something that could easily be plot relevant does happen at the end of the demo (that I won't say in case some people want media black out).

As a Tarofag and a Platinumfag, I'm very happy with the demo.

World of Final Fantasy is super comfy.
Also, Type-0 HD and FFX/X-2 HD if you haven't already played them.

There are a bunch of PS2 classics on PSN, like Dark Cloud 1+2 and Wild Arms 3.

Skyrim is alright, I prefer PC for that, but I do play ESO on console and that is fun and comfy.

Tales of Zestiria can be hit or miss. It is probably the worst Tales game, but I enjoyed it for the most part. Combat a shit though. Berseria is coming out next month.

Star Ocean V is fun but grindy. Combat is super basic as well, and it has weird difficulty spikes.

Wasn't impressed by that Nier demo.

The core gameplay was fun but I can't say the same for everything else. The different camera angles just didn't work at all imo. The boss fight was extremely underwhelming. It's a shame when even a Naruto game has more complex similar style fights. And the infinite turret is just easy mode.

I was somewhat optimistic for this game but it looks like Platinum ruined it with their attempts at innovating, as usual.

Anybody got the gravity rush 2 demo yet? I'm 4 hours left.

Does anyone here have a copy of Galgun double peace for ps4? I need someone to test something for me if they wouldn't mind.
Once in the game if you barely move either of the analog sticks to the right and then lift your fingers off do you get aiming drift? Like I'm guessing the game devs didn't put the deadzone area high enough and my controllers sticks are sometimes resting outside the dead zone and so my aiming point moves by itself. I'm trying to determine if this is normal or if my controller is bad.
I don't really see anyone complaining about it online though so I'm wondering if it's just my controller.

What should I get for $20? I'll play most anything.

Now, I know that 60 fps is great, especially in shooters and fast paced games, but, am I the only one who doesn't mind 30 fps in games, specifically those designed to be more cinematic? A few examples I can come up (bare with me) with are Final Fantasy 15, Dark Souls 3, Fallout 4, The Last Of Us, GTA5, Just Cause 3.

The reason I don't mind them being 30 fps is that they look more like a movie than a game, which I quite enjoy. It makes it more cinematic.

Average film runs at around 26 or 24 fps, right? People say that 60 fps is more realistic, but, if anything, it draws me out of some games when the animation is noticeably, well, animated. It draws attention to the fact that it isn't real and can ruin the immersion for me, while 30 fps does a good job of masking this.
