While it's certainly true that some of these actors are awful, there are a few decent ones in there whose performance is poor because of the shitty voice direction. The main problem lies with the godawful casting. Next to nobody actually suits their character at all. Then there's the problems with name pronunciation and stiff as fuck translation on top of all that.
This is shaping up to be one of the worst localizations I've seen in a long time, and for this to happen with Atlus USA's biggest game is truly a sad sight to behold.

Studio Khara is doing it with some help from Trigger which isn't uncommon since they're both ex-Gainex. Director who doing the anime did this.

They have to find that sweet spot between linearity and open. I think old Final Fantasy had both it had linear parts but you had to cross an overworld to get to them.

to be fair, the entire project was probably dicked around. No game actually spend 10 years in development and be actively developed that entire time. They probably keep having staff dragged off the project, core design of the game changed, have to remake it all for newer hardware etc etc. it probably got to a point where they just said you've got one year make whatever you can from this because it's getting released one way or the other.

More than anything the most frustrating part of chapter 13 was the inability to sprint, and the fact that every damn door had an open-and-close sequence to wait through.

I would've also liked a portion at the beginning of some fucking around in Insomnia before you set off, might have made the eventual return mean more. Could've had a few quests, maybe some lower level fights with humans since it's the city and all.

Might've made the eventual return more meaningful, as opposed to only ever seeing the place in cutscene, and even then only the front steps of the Citadel.

Though you could say this for everything in the game after the trip to Altissia. There seemed to be nothing at all to do there (unless I just missed it somehow), and not being able to see anything of Tenebrae was also shit. The empire collapsing off-screen while on the train didn't make it any more coherent.

Couldn't explore the World of Ruin either, which sucked. I was surprised that even in the past version of Lucis there was no 'help Hunters fight a monster' quest type either. Come to think of it, you never see Hunters anywhere except at outposts, and don't seem to be able to buy rifles despite guards in the World of Ruin using them.

There's a lot of shit that bums me out about the latter half of FFXV, you could really go on all day.

The amphibious cars are about $1,000,000+. The ramp car is $3,000,000. The jumping, parachuting missile car is $5,000,000+.

You also need to pay at least $1,000,000 to be a CEO before you can buy any of them.

If you play with friends, especially over mic, the amount is reasonable. If you exclusively play with randoms then yeah, it's a pain in the ass to get even close to getting these things.
