The fat stats are nice, but the effect is a little underwhelming at that point in the game, especially since you'll probably have gotten a good amount of draw from Dire Bond already in Control.

It depends on how big your collection is and how the starting roll changes with the expansion.
You can always just roll again in the future if you need to. The game isn't about grind so much as it is about steady accumulation, so you won't lose out if you start an account more and abandon it to a better roll in 2 weeks.

As a matter of principle you should just complete chapter 6 in each of the campaigns, it isn't even that hard and you'll unlock all of the basic cards doing this.
Also, if you ever run out of gold for t2 runs, remember that you can complete each craft's campaign finale for a free t2 ticket.

Back when RoB was online I really liked Orchis. She had a good story and great personality. Orchis in Granblue however is kind of plain and not very expressive. It's 4 mana for 6/7 in stats so the value is good, plus it impacts the board faster than beastcall does.
Should work fine in the slower deck types but obviously something storm haven won't run it just because they want the storm minion.
It's a good card, the problem is finding space for it. It's defintiely not replacing priest so I'm not sure what cards you drop for it in other decks. It will be a strong card in arena though for sure.

I wanted to see Zwei in Granblue too but it wouldn't make sense because different stories.
In RoB however Orchis and Zwei interacted. They were sisters. However not really in the sense of biological. They're both puppets. Orchis was made by the Master Puppeter that abandoned her before he lost his mind. Orchis at first was rather robotic and became more humanlike the more stories she was in.
Then came Zwei who was made by the Master Puppeteer's apprentice to kill Orchis because he believed that everything needed to be controlled. Orchis and Zwei talked it out and decided that they were more like sisters than anything else. Orchis helped liberate Zwei but Orchis was dealing with heavier mental strain.
Later Orchis became more and more negative about everything while Zwei became more positive about everything. Zwei was kind of yandere for Orchis initially but in later stories she dropped that and became a cheerful person who just wants to help Orchis not hurt so much.
While we're on that topic I really wanted to see Anne and Grea in the 2nd RoB anime that stopped development. They're so adorable together.

Three reasons I can guess:
1) RoB is old and outdated even though it's still played in Japan so no real profit for product production like figures
2) Granblue is currently Cygames biggest profit winner and it shows by how they throw down with art, voicework, and new stories pretty often. It's the new hotness so from a marketing standpoint this is good for getting more people in the game by watching an anime of it. It's coming out next month.
3) Cygames probably didn't want to shell out money to Mappa this time so they went with A-1 with their money and new product.

Well it's implied that RoB happened in the past of Granblue and something happened around RoB era caused the world to become floating islands. Probably Lucifer who wanted to fucking end the world because he missed his waifu. So Shadowverse was probably just another universe that was fine until RoB timeline took a shit and whatever happened there caused it to leak to SV. So in SV you're playing with mostly deceased or things long gone from the RoB universe. But hey it's all good... mostly. Granblue starts several 10s of thousands of years later in the RoB universe.

Don't. I played it and even ran a guild on there for a few months. It's has pretty art as you can see in SV because it's all recycled from RoB but SV is better in every way. RoB's gameplay is literally whoever get 10 cards and compare them with your opponent's to see who has the higher attack or def value. That's it. One turn. No strategy. That's how it was back when RoB started in the mid 2000s. It was okay then but it showed its age around the turn of 2010. That and the horrendous market economy on there. You could trade cards for "holy powder" from someone else in a public market and purchase something else. However you needed at least 4 copies of a card to fully use it and 6 copies to actually make the card worthwhile. It was stupid and made everyone terrible people. Trade was a horrible thing.

I would say yes it from playing about a year of it. I heard of SV from granblue and heard of granblue from RoB. Granblue works for those that like RPG stuff including farming, raiding, and grinding. It's Japanese and they love farming over there. Try it out. The game gives out stuff pretty often to get new weapons and characters. Most of stuff you need is farmable either in-game or playing events. You also get characters from events too. Right now it's holiday bonuses to crystals(used to roll summons, weapons, and characters) and draw tickets. It will be a legend festival soon and especially since it's christmas you'll get a nice starting package with not only limited legend festival characters but also christmas characters too. Read guides and have fun. Also if you do plan on purchasing stuff wait for surprise tickets. It's about $25 for a 10 draw ticket and a PICK ANY CHARACTER OF YOUR CHOICE outside of limited characters. Typically happens once every month or so for like a week.

Dragon got the piss. It needs none of this shit and none of the cards are even very useful.
Witch got its finisher as well as a pretty solid removal card. I can see aggro witch being absolute suffering to play against now.
Elf got eeh. Sure that spell can remove most anything with the conditional, but at that point it's just as expensive as normal removal. Amulet removal is eh, destroy ain't that useful.
The follower is just bad.
Sword's stuff looks okay, I'm not really feeling the 6pp thing, it's a spurned witch with +2hp and a conditional that is real awkward to use against aggro. Ninja Arts seems solid, but I don't think it's 'replace whole souled swing" solid.
Blood's card seems garbage in constructed, he but fucking terrifying in arena. He's effectively 5/7 for your opponent on turn 1, and only grows. If they can't instantly kill or ward him, he will murder your opponent.
Haven card is slow and garbage, like almost all the Haven cards this xpac.
The Neutral card seems great for aggro cause it's guaranteed dmg.

I've been finding out that Execution is a phenomenal replacement for Dance of Death in slower Shadow lists. Denying Elana's or the Blood heal/draw amulet can win games; especially Elana's, they shit themselves when they see it go pop.
Since you have LotF/Mordecai carrying your lategame, you aren't so dependent on scratch damage ticking your opponent into combo range. Using Cerberus for board control helps a lot in matchups like Haven where you aren't likely to be able to burst them down.

Playful Necromancer is guaranteed board control if you're going second, evolve > trade in + trade with ghosts can swing almost any board your way. Unleasher is very strong when going 1st, since you don't have access to evolve that turn. Drop him, and if he doesn't get popped, evolve him next turn. A 3/x with that LW is an uncomfortable target. I've found that since I just have so much goddamn removal I can get away with running just 2x mid-late cards. Necro and Unleash are strongest near their turn, so you want to draw just one or the other reliably. It's mainly about running enough numbers at each PP breakpoint that you avoid dead draws.

Discarding Elana's, most amulets to worry about (PtP and late Dire Bond + Bloody Mary) don't drop until far into the game.
As for Elana's, you don't need to, or necessarily want to destroy it on turn 5, because as you said that'd be a waste of a turn. It's reasonably easy to keep the healbuffs under control until Arias start popping, so you can save the Elana's until a bit later.
So in refusal to run a 5pp multipurpose Follower/Amulet removal, you choose to run a card that has a dead effect in at least half the matches you play?

Again, in my experience, fending off Morde is what lets me win in the first place. The constant threat of a 5/5 every turn will most of the time grind your opponents offense to a halt. And no matter how many bodies they throw in front of him, Morde's gonna keep coming back. Urd-ing him might speed up the process, but I don't think it changes the end result overmuch.

Fur-lined scabbards can be held upside down without the sword falling out quite easily, the shoulderpads aren't nearly as bad as you make out, and from what I hear grabbing capes isn't as easy or effective as you might think
