Shadow, Blood and Haven all have some demonic theming.

Shadow gets demons associated with servitude and occultism. They have a lot of traditional mythology associated with them.

Blood demons are in DnD terms, "Chaotic". They get tricksters and destroyers, and their flavouring is mostly around eating things and being generally naughty.

Haven demons are corruptors, they're vaguely Christian and usually have weird alien imagery instead of looking like traditional monsters.

The vague lore for Rage of Bahamut basically goes that there're three factions of man, angels, and demons. They worked together in the past to seal Bahamut who was a jerk.

Neutral angels and demons largely represent arbitrators related to this background lore or characters who don't fit into the other themes. Satan and Odin were major figures in the background, Gabriel and Lucifer are arbitrators after the battle, and it goes on like that. Olivia, the Harnassed Siblings and Goblinmount are neutral because they don't fit into any of the factions.

Really Haven having angels is stranger than neutral having angels and demons though, don't know what's up with that.

I don't think so, because premade decks are a lot more limited purchases. You only need to buy it once to play, and unless they purposely make premades that eclipse the previous ones you won't be constantly buying them. Plus packs are still the only way to get animated cards that aren't the few unique ones from premades.

Well Forest is the PTP faction because it's stupid easy to get large amounts of fodder
Dirtrune PTP is slightly more complex because your tokens cost more and can't really be bounced back. At least they cover face good and the draw is better.

While I agree that Forest and Sword are the obvious overtuned cancer classes stagnating the meta the most with their eternal pressence in tier 1, I'd still rather see Rune gutted before them. I've never seen a design space restriction in a competitive game worse than Dimensional Shift. Not even the most cancerous tier 0 shit in YGO and MTG prevented other decks from being played as hard D.Shift prevents slow decks (that don't have a ridiculous winrate precentage somewhere else to make up for the auto loss).

What lists do you use for both? Pic related are my Rune and Forest lists. I have the Pascale in there as (hopefully) an alternate win condition, but I haven't tested it out. Also I only have one of each of the Forest leggos, but it's been performing well and I haven't bricked yet.
