What do you guys think about Relic? I have to say after laning is over it's super crap to use and you can rarely get to use it on creeps. I was wondering when you get FotM that it lets you mark creeps and when they are under 100 hp no matter who kills them you share the gold. Plus you can mark them from anywhere on the map. But you can still keep the melee kill+healing if you're close to a ally.

The fact that brusiers are a failed model is show how Riot are now calling them "Juggernaughts" ( Slow mostly useless brusiers ) or "Initators ( Things like Vi that actually have a chance to be useful )

It's why you don't see them in Carry or Mid positions. Gold is worth less on them as is EXP, and they're use to gank and support the full damage.

You don't see them in mid because it's full of mages that out range them heavily and if they take the mid role from assassins (who while melee can kill mages fairly efficiently) then the mid laner won't be able to effectively roam.
The exp is good on them since they scale harder with their abilities and bases than adcs who need full damage to be useful
They're typically found in the jungle or top because they either have really good ganks, are good with both exp and gold or all three
Bruisers end mid game because late is where we assume everyone is full build. that's around the time where full glass canon damage will outscale their half damage half tank build
Juggernauts are still fine since they do a lot of damage, that's why they're not very mobile (see illaoi and morde or darius ). If you give them mobility then they have everything.Vi's an initiator because she can get to the back lane and deal a lot of damage with just tri warrior full tank. they also aren't exclusive initiators and don't do as good of a job as actual tanks. vi and her kin are more similar to divers

The entire point of brusiers and why're they're not a worthless class is all about their mid game power spike that they hit between the levels 9-16ish

Even if they don't do more damage than a late game ADC, it won't matter since they adc won't have completed all of their late game multiplicative stats. They're also not entirely tankier than tanks since they all build a damage item or maybe two. But in the early and mid game their base stats and kits let them be tanky enough to absorb and mitigate damage

the point of bruisers isn't exclusively to dive ADCs. They're quite flexible since they can work as initiators and start a fight in the mid game better than a tank. they can also deal more damage than an adc in the mid game so if they do dive like an assassin they can zone out an adc or face tank a lot of ults/focus and let their adc do as much dps as possible. sometimes they'll even take out whatever carry they're diving for

i mean, are you foreal saying that vi, hecarim, darius, nasus, renek, irelia, jax, etc. have no place in a game? they're multipurpose champions that can be super tanky divers that deal a lot of damage, great splitpushers, duelists, etc. all in the mid/even in the late game.

In the mid game they most definitively do more damage than a two or three item ADC.
