FE1 isn't hard, it's just the weirdest FE to play. RNG is fucking ridiculous, 80% of units have no use besides being bait, the handful of Axe units you get are easily the best in the game, but can't promote, and axes are incredibly rare, and to top it all off, after Marth gets the Falchion, essentially nothing can damage him.

It's a wild ride, but I'll be damned if it's not the most "whatever" FE experience overall. Book 1 of FE3, or Shadow Dragon, does the maps/units/story the justice it deserves.
