The game is kinda split up in 3 parts, 2 of them are song packs and one of them is the base game. The basegame is called Project Diva Future Tone Prelude and is free. It comes with 2 songs, I think weekender girl and 1/6 out of gravity. You can test it out if you want, it's up in the JP store or wait for january to come over here.

Since the game has 224 songs in total you'll find slower songs aswell, for sub titles sega said that they'll put romanji subs in the game which probably doesn't help you all that much.

January also has Gravity Rush 2, KH 2.8, a new Digimon game, Resident Evil 7 and Tales of Berseria.

Yes, it's digital only. The way it works is that you download the base game, Prelude and then buy the song packs if you want. They are split up into one that has songs from previous PSP/PS3/PS Vita games and one that has songs from the 3DS game / Arcade. I think both song packs are $30 each or you can buy the full package with prelude + both song packs for $54.

GTAV on PS4 has much better visuals than on PS3, a first-person camera, and it also has more songs, wildlife, and random encounters. There's new collectibles as well, though I haven't done most of them except the Peyote plants, which turn you into a playable animal. I'd like much more out of a PS4 enhancement (new missions, enterable buildings, minigames) but oh well. GTA Online updates have been PS4/XB1/PC-only now.

Watch Dogs 2 was a guilty pleasure of mine, but I don't see myself playing it as frequently as GTA. The open world is fun, but I'll probably just go back to replay missions and try guns I neglected.

Over 6 hours to download a 3.6gb game. Is it my connection, psn, or both? Also I miss PS3's download style of telling you what % you're at. It was always so much more comforting than displaying estimated time remaining. Why? % doesn't go down. Time remaining however may actually increase.

Both. PSN only ever seems to work with a fraction of your actual network speed. For instance when i had 20mbps I would only ever download at about 7mbps. People on gigabit connections usually only use about 40% of their max speed, which is still much higher than 20mbps so really I should've been able to get that. Then when I'll dropped to the 5mbps connection i have now it only goes at about 2mbps. Obviously your experience may vary but it's well know the PSN is a piece of shit.

You can. Being a prequel, there are characters from the other games and you'll miss bits of fanservice here and there. I know there is one sidequest where the antagonist of Yakuza 2 shows up as a twelve year old then you beat the shit out of him.

But other than that stuff, you'll be fine. Binary Domain feels like it's done by a completely different team and isn't really related in any way.

I would just like to say, since I forgot to mention it sooner, anyone thinking of getting the platinum wireless headset launching next year, i'd advise against it. The build quality is really similar to the gold headset. Which can break with minimal and extremely careful usage. I was using the platinum headset after maybe 30 other people at psx, and the cups were damaged, the plastic hinges were damaged and loose, and the actual band that was on top of my head was shredded.

Sounded good but really not worth the asking price. Pick up a different pair.
