This isn't directly related to this sample and I haven't finished reading, but I forgot to mention something on your story for the daedric fuccboi. Sentence structure and word choice directly impart the emotion you want them to. This is a pretty broad topic, as short sudden sentences can both be tense action or tranquility, whereas excessively long sentences can be languid or be as that infamous passage from Blood Meridian. You should look into these things. An understand of poetry will help your prose, but for journals and dialogue you will of course consider the style of the relevant character.

Its a quirk on his part. He likes to imagine he's talking to the journal itself when he writes. Probably because he never got much attention as a child. I also tried to write like I imagined he would. Basically all verbose and dignified and stuff while secretly repressing severe stress on occasion.

As for your other point, I'll try and look into sentence structure more. By default I tend to write longer sentences so I could could benefit from expanding my linguistic toolset, as it were.

When I eventually get around to writing journals for my other two characters I'll try and go for a way different writing style for the two of them, so that might help me improve also.

If the Empire knew how to play the long game they wouldn't have signed the White-Gold Concordat. It's pretty clear from the fact that an isolated Hammerfell eventually pushed the Aldmeri Dominion troops out that if Mede had pressed the advantage after wiping out their army he could have gotten peace on much better terms. The Empire is in a bad way to begin with, but it's a lot worse than it has to be due to leadership decisions.

Stormcloaks are worse, only insofar as they represent a further devolution of the Empire which is a long term foreign policy goal of the Aldmeri Dominion.

Are you not using the Unofficial patches? Fucking go get USLEEP, if you haven't already. Yar Har any dlc you don't already have, if you need to. They're basically a requirement, along with the memory patches and the like.

I read a lore book that said Orc bodies are best fro necromancy because of the toughness of the bones and skin, and that Nord bodies were also good but they were often frozen or buried away.

It didn't say orc corpses were easy to get, just that they were the best.

The only other times it mentioned the corpses being attained was that battlefields were good, but Nords were hard because they were hidden by the snow, the desert rotted Redguard corpses too soon, Bretons burned their dead, Argonians rotted very quickly in the swamp, and Bosmer usually ate their dead.

It honestly just seems to be playing to the way abilities were set up for the various races in the games before Skyrim more than anything else. That and the basic idea that simple undead tend to lose things like skills, learned abilities, and mental faculties/abilities, making the average Nord, orc, or Redguard with their generally slightly better physical attributes marginally better choices to use.

Like with everything, the physical abilities of any particular individual can vary from the norm greatly, but the above could be seen as a nice "rule of thumb" to keep in mind when scavenging random corpses from wherever.

Redguard and Breton marriages are reasonably frequent among the nobility of the Iliac Bay states (Daggerfall, Wayrest, Sentinel, etc.) - because of course, remember, along the Iliac Bay it's more about individual petty kingdoms than race. Barenziah married Tiber Septim - but then again Barenziah was incredibly Imperialized and had never even met another Dunmer until she was found by Symmachus (by which point she was already an adult or close to adulthood IIRC). I have two dwarven daggers that I dual wield, hotkeyed to 1 so if I press 1 twice I'll draw both. Fine that's how I want it.

I refined them to up the damage and now they are listed seperately instead of <item name> (2) so I can't press one hotkey to draw them anymore and I can't favorite them.

How do spell debuffs stack? Im using Ordinator which adds plague spells to the game. I wanted to know if I was to use multiple different plague spells/debuff spells to a single enemy, do they have a hard stack limit? If so, what is said limit?
