Yeah, each fight so far has been really enjoyable. Sophia's fight is easy, but it's really fun at the same time and it was interesting how they handled the tilts even if it ultimately ended up rather easy. Yoshi did say Sophia would be a somewhat easier fight before 3.4, and they did also say the mechanics would be a bit of a number game. I'd like to see them do something else with Zurvan, but keep that general fresh feeling in terms of actual execution. Sophia isn't the first fight to have falling off, but Quasar was an interesting idea

Yeah the most they kinda do is bring in regular enemies and tune them up to be a dungeon boss. I think Liquid Flame coming into XIV as Living Liquid and then Liquid Flame himself was kinda neat. I'm still hoping for Shinryu, Quetzalcoatl, Kaiser Dragon (this one will probably never happen) and a few others. But I don't want any of those to end up as primals

I think the carbuncle glamours coming are the first step. I think the other primal egis are future glamour, probably sometime in 4.0? That said, it is a shame that it seems a bit hard for them to make a fourth SMN pet, or a third SCH one right now. Only because I'm not really sure what SMN would ask for in a fourth pet. Same for SCH, Eos and Selene seem to have it covered so the only thing SCH and SMN get now are new skills rather than a new pet. Not that this is a bad thing necessarily, all things considered. It just seems a bit of a shame that the next time we see new pets might very well be when they add a third active pet job and not another MCH

They need to introduce a better way to summon pets mid-battle before they give SMN more pets. It wouldn't be hard to introduce a Summon IV/V if swapping pets consistently through fights was actually a thing. Having to choose what pet skills to put on cooldown adds pretty nice depth to the class without adding a bunch of buttons.

In my case I wasn't feeding any of my lower level chocobos any feed at all so they were going up in ranks and drastically falling behind and it was taking forever. So for about the first four or so pedigree levels I bought feed with gil. After that it was using MGP for the Grade 2 feed.

Then when I had the Pedigree 9 I wanted (just hitting 9 wasn't enough I had to breed a lot of chocobos to get what I wanted) I invested the Grade 3 feed into it.

It's not a perfect Chocobo but it wins me like 9/10 races and those races usually are losses because insanity happens.

Yeah at the moment, it isn't helped that the summons themselves feel clunky. SCH's fairies are pretty smooth, but switching between them is a rough one. Funnily enough, MCH switching turrets is smoother and it makes me wonder if maybe SMN or SCH will get a skill that just switches the active summon rather than needing to endure the cast time or swiftcast them. It makes sense for MCH to quickly change its turrets, but I've always felt it odd that XIV's summoner was how it is in combat, in terms of the actual summon's involvement and how you interact with it. Switching between them easier would potential open up more possibilities for future skills that are influenced by your active summon, like Enkindle

Outside of contagion garuda is fairly useless, is what I mean. You could have an instance where you swap into ifrit for lots of adds for radiant shield, and then swap back to garuda to contagion, while swapping to a new pet that has an AoE GCD attack. The only reason garuda is such a better choice is because you cant make use of ifrit at all without murdering your mana and uptime. Being able to swap them like MCH turrets gives you a lot more depth because while the CDs are still linked, finding out the optimal cooldowns from pets is cool.

Honestly, I want more jobs to get abilities with effects depending on another aspect of the job. Like how Equilibrium grants HP in Defiance, TP in Deliverance, and technically but not really Assize in and outside of Cleric Stance, Enkindle's effect depending on your current summon. Hypercharge depending on your current turret. I want SMN to gain more abilities like Enkindle right now, so that your pet choice matters a bit more than it does right now, for your own abilities rather than just which of your pets has the ability you really want to make the most out of right now. I'd also want BLM to have at least one skill that changes its effect depending on whether you were in Astral Fire or Umbral Ice, though to not let Astral Fire completely eclipse Umbral, it'd need to be a non-damaging off-GCD where both Umbral and Astral effects had similar value depending on the situation. But it's something that I think the two Arcanist jobs could make better use of first

It's not dead dead, but in NA nighttime at least there's <1k people playing so you'll get matched with a lot of the same peopleand a lot of the gamemodes are dead, honestly. But, in my opinion it's still hella fun to play so i can forgive the small amount of people since matchmaking doesn't take aaages. Worth it imo.

For glamour itself you only need a level 50 DoW/DoM.
To actually craft the prisms requires level 50 crafts classes of the specific prism you want. You can determine which class makes the appropriate prism by checking which class can repair or meld it.

You buy/craft a prism matching what can meld/repair/craft the piece that you want to copy the appearance of. You open the menu of extra options over the gear you want to replace, choose glamour, look in the list for the piece you want to copy, and voila.
