This banner is a good banner since all of them can go to 6* either now or the future. It depends on how useful Noctis is though given he is a base 5*. Mercedes is useful if you intend to roll for Tidus since she is a water based attacker and Cheezy Chorizo has a top notch TMR and is useful as a unit to boot. Charlotte is a good support tank in her 6* with Enbolden and her own Refresh ability(that can be made better with enhancements to boot!) alongside nullifying magic damage when she covers and a not die if at a certain percentage of health passive that can be made even better(starts off at less than 70% to one-shot her, can be improved to has to be less than 30% to KO her).

You can get them in the daily pull just as easily as you can in the 10+1. Some people here have pulled multiple rainbows out of their daily, while some haven't pulled any rainbows at all.

The chance doesn't get any better with an 11 pull, outside of the guaranteed 4* Crystal, which can upgrade into a Rainbow one like any other Gold Crystal.

Its pretty much just pull for what you can get, which are 3* and 4*, and just hope for 5* bases to fall into your lap as a surprise one day.

The two 4* units can become 6* units, Charlotte will eventually get a 6* as well, and while 5* bases are strong out of the box, TMRs in the long run can make any character great.

I wont get my hopes up on getting Noctis, it'd be nice. I have Prishe and Onion Knight as my most desirable 5* bases.

There's a difference in curving "RNG" between someone doing 1 pull a day and someone doing 200 pulls in one day because they dropped their paycheck in a mobile game, however.

If you really want Noctis, start new accounts and reroll for him, using the starting Lapis/Tickets to pull for him. If just having a single 5* base is enough to satisfy you, you wont have to feel anxious down the line.

I started playing during the Halloween event, but rerolled after two weeks when the III banner started. Got Luneth and Cecil at the start, and eventually Refia. With three of the best units in the game, there was really no pressure to have to get other units, and I can draw or pass on banners at my leisure.

If you aren't too far in, start over and try to get a start you're satisfied with. Otherwise, there's plenty of units down the line that aren't 5* bases that make great 6* units or other units that aren't 6* now may have 6* upgrades later. Firion is a monster with lots of X Killer abilities, WoL bulks up and has -40% stat down abilities, Agrias who's nothing more than a 5* Full Breaker now becomes a mini Orlandu at 6* + Enhancements.

I'm in the Via Purifico and about to fight Seymour. Yuna just learned Reflect, and every enemy I fight is Overkilled by a single regular attack from Tidus/Wakka/Auron (screenshot related).

That only worked in those early Global fights because you could wreck everything super quick. Edgar is useless in JP because he dies to everything.
You want a 6* chainer in JP. One of the big guns like Teedus or Orlandu are obviously optimal, but other characters like Rasler, Rikku or Vaan can do the job. Vaan in particular is pretty much considered Edgar's successor, but Rikku is probably the best unit in the game when it comes to building chains and providing team support..

The arms have 4 million HP each, the body has 10 million.

The arms respawn every time you kill them, with each time causing more weird things to happen.

The arm instagibs the unit with the highest ATK each turn, and so far no setup has been able to survive this (hence needing units with ridiculous attack >>162734664 as bait)

If you kill the right arm, it makes the body angry and the right arm respawns. Do it again, and you get snuffed out of the fight.

So in order to win, you need to kill the left arm 10 times in a row, the right arm 3 times in a row, and then take on the body. For a total of 62 MILLION HP. Or you can try and bruteforce down the body, but this requires uberwhaling.

He's not a tank, but you should focus on his natural bulk instead of trying to polish his turdly attack. He's a counterer, and the best unit in that niche.

So when facing a boss with multihit attacks, you can get him to generate LB proportional to the number of hits he takes. This would've made maxwell a breeze, for instance, but it's a very obscure setup to use. You're almost always better packing more DPS/ an actual tank.

You should clear ELT Hanging Edge for some Megacite since Yellow can drop there and you can feed him the other colors if necessary.

I have a level 66 Ramuh(aka 2* level 36). My weakest is Shiva who can awaken right now at level 30 1* and then the next weakest is Siren who will forever stay at level 10 2*. All of my Espers are at 2* essentially.

Orlandu always needs a pal (although it doesn't have to be another Orlandu). You could go with enhanced Gil, Agrias, or even Rikku with the right equips (this reduces the damage due to elemental averaging though).

And as an important addendum to this, his total damage output without DW is cut by more than half. He NEEDS DW to function.

With a regular setup, two Orlandus reach max chain on hit 10 of their combo, leaving 4 maxed out hits (2 each).
With DW, they max the chain on hit 10 and have 18 extra hits at max chain (9 each).

So you're doing only a tiny fraction of your possible damage if you don't have DW equipped. Less than most units do with normal attacks.

I only awoken Siren to 2* since I had a ton of blues from Maranda Coast grinding and I needed an esper that didn't give me a weakness to Vargas at the time.

And you could have drawn into Vanille who is a bonus unit and she comes with Cheer.
