How do i stop getting fucked in the ass by breaches? Im 7.1k ES, FB totem, and the second I open a breach i get fucking rolled by the mobs, since theres no where to go to regen my ES without getting smacced

GGG made that whole video about 'Making every skill unique' but I can't really think of a situation where shrapnel shot would be used where you wouldn't rather use something else instead. fb totems takes a little getting use to in breaches, you should be recasting your totems to proc them, otherwise the trash adds up to quickly and will kill you. don't leave the breach, thats a bad idea, stand your ground stay close to the middle and be aware of status effects they cast. what i did when i was fb totems - cast 2 totems, open breach, pot, recast totems, try to keep your totems chaining, basically cast a totem even second or two. chaining your totem casts can be helpful too. idk why people are not playing shockwave totems this league, they would be pretty op

Experience. You can play safely the first few minute and see their patterns. Running in wide circles around a boss is usually a decent way to not get hit by many boss attacks (doesn't work for all, but most). This isn't entirely effective though because a few bosses ramp up in difficulty and their patterns change as they are damaged, but circle strafing is usually a safe "Oh fuck I need to not die now" plan.

Mostly, make sure your flasks are full and your resists are high before running into a new boss fight. Have at least one flask that removes bleed and one that removes freezes to keep you safe from nasty surprises.

Another way to look at it is that if your shield represents more than 6/40 = 15% of your total base ES, that node is going to be more efficient than a 6% ES one.
