The writing feels exactly like a moege, with nothing particularly profound or interesting happening, just light hearted comedy and casual conversations. It's a slow driven character focused story that requires one to actually reflect on what is being said in the VN in order to be able to fully appreciate it. It's no wonder that the plebs on /vn/ wouldn't be able to appreciate it.

After reading Himawari I've come to the realization that I most likely am a chuu2 fag, as long as I can remember the only time I've gotten excited over reading visual novels is during flashy action scenes. I'm fine with reading SoL and backstories for hours though, it just builds up the tension with the battles being the resolution of my patience.

Sick dialogue, long battles and over the top action is why I picked up this medium after my first F/SN read. I want to enjoy other reads, and sometimes I do but never to the extent of well-written chuu2 works. I think it was about time I accepted this fact, does this make me a faggot?

Fate/Stay Night fight scenes was boring as hell m8. I pretty much ctrl'd through the last Gilgamesh fight scene in UBW, and I ended up dropping the game at Heaven's Feel.

According to Conjueror, Dies Irae is pretty much the same in regards to how the fight scenes roll.
