Is there any way to hold a button and lock the camera without it using that shitty nauseating floaty camera? dota_camera_lock did it but after the shitty "anti-cheat" patch broke aliases I can't use it anymore.

On the test client, all the regular camera follows were using a hard follow without any of the floaty bullshit so I thought they finally got rid of that, but on live it's back.

so, who else has fps issues now? what hardware are you using?

i know this isn't an entirely fair comparison as it is not the exact same frame that's being rendered, but this is as close as i could get.

fps are capped at 148 (not that it really matters now), which i easily got before the update.

now i get anywhere between 90 and 125 depending on the scene. lowering the settings basically does nothing as my screenshots illustrate.

First game after update, game is smooth as silk. UI feels different, but I can definitely get used to it. Juking is a lot more fun now with the new jungle layout.

his passive is the broken ass skill right now, at least you can walk out of his ult
but if icefrog gutted his passive, it wouldn't be worth skill points at all because you need to hit 4 times to activate it and only THEN do you get any bonuses at all, so if you weren't TRYING to use it, you'd basically never proc it in normal play
