Take for instance this lawset.
1-3: standard asimov
4: clean the station
The reaction at first would be to clean messes, but the law does not specify what needs to be cleaned, so the silicons determine what is not clean and will clean it. This likely leads to the spacing of all non humans, the removal of just about everything from the station, and possibly locking the remaining humans in a room off station so there can never be any more messes created. Can you law 2 your way out of it? Sure, but expect them to go back to it as soon as you leave.

First and foremost it's the players, the players, the players. Silicons are where the players with a thirst for valids, itch for nostunz, and zero concept of escalation end up in. It has its own gravitational well of shittery, and I think it shows to everyone.
Cyborgs are at the very base terrible design. They are immune to nearly everything this game's combat is based around, and instead have their own very specific hard counters. To put short, this is fucking awful, and this is coming from the person with access to those hard counters anyways. Like I said, this plays into the gravitational pull described above.
Silicons are always subverted. It's so laughably easy to, and it's such a surefire tactic too. Each silicon is at least four times more likely to try to kill you than any other crew member. Even when their laws aren't explicitly subverted, they loophole their way into it - see the shitter singularity effect yet?
A silicon doesn't need to be subverted to be retarded. Law 2 ensures that. Yes, even when you understand law 2 yourself and how to counteract it, it still makes every single cyborg liable to go retard jousting at no moment's notice. Or get emagged. Oh haha, oh you wacky validhunting piece of shit, you just got TOLD to zap the HoP, how endearing.

Emagged silicons are also pretty much one trick ponies. Give the mix tank to distro valve a rest, Christ.

I tend to have the most takers on box station honestly, advertising nobreathe to the medibirds and speed to the parameds always results in takers, and a security guard or two almost always end up knocking on the window asking for powers.
