Silesia is actually more valuable since its a cheap target that makes your border with the Germans small and easy to defend. Rheinland requires 95 war score to demand which is quite a lot in that first war. I quickly overwhelmed the Prussians in this second war, destroying their armies in the east letting the french charge up through the corridor.

Alright lads, this is my final result from my CK2 stint of my Jerusalem megacampaign with an EU4 post soon to follow. Took some suggestions from in the previous thread earlier today and cleaned up some of the nonsensical shit/borders while keeping the overall historical timeline in tact. Made sure at this point to break up the HRE vassals a bit so it wouldn't be shit in EU4. No real other console editting done.

I wanted to save Georgia, but honestly they got absolutely raped by Mongols and by the time I'd cut a line through the sunni emirs in the CK2 run not only had Georgia fallen, but the Georgian culture was nearly horse raped out of existence by mongoloids. All I could do was grant that region to the Knights Hospitaller and convert what was left lad, I'm sorry.

It's fine but a little boring because most of the converted countries were either too insignificant or didn't pick colonial ideas. Sicily, Aragon, GB, France, and Badajoz (that eventually got eaten by Anadalusia) were all my competing colonizers. By the time they were seriously into the colonizing game I was finishing up Mexico/Louisiana. Only very few minor border clean up edits here. Sicily/France/England became the major colony holders alongside my humongous monopoly. Couldn't get to California/Alaska before the chinks got there though. Actually a shit ton of colonizers were in India/China, so Malaysia was locked off pretty fast too. Didn't have the patience to blob harder in NA when Sunni was still prominent in India/further east.

I feel like the New World was properly DEUS VULT'd though. Like zero animists anymore except maybe a few snow eskimos in Canada. All colonizers were Catholic. For a short while there was a Catalan United States, but GB swallowed them up and good thing too.

Now, my original plan was to do a joint steampunk and zombie apocalypse mod. But I imagine there's a sizeable group of people taken with the steampunk idea who would prefer that it came zombie-free. Or vice versa. So I think the best plan would be to make two seperate mods and strive to ensure that they're as integrable as possible.

Of course, the holy grail would be to have some pan-community, WeiDU-esque system for intercompatibility set up... but just thinking about that exhausts me @_@

I will probably release all my colonial states in the Americas when the 1.19 Eu4>Vic2 converter comes out just due to colonial power problems alone and just to see what they do. Outside of that, Knights'/Templars will remain my protectorates. Indus Dei might be freed too just because I've never seen what a united India does during a Vic 2 campaign. Would be p. cool.

Of course other limitations were simply no attacking Catholics outside of colonial ambitions. Basically ended up playing world police for Christendom, and only landed invasions in Europe if they were protestant and needed a reminder about who owns the Holy Land. Orthodox christians weren't as held to the rule.

That was the point. Religion doesn't matter as much later on in Vic2 where as culture and cultural unions do. With the converter, as as I'm aware, you can undo a lot of the african colonization nonsense of EU4 as well. Considering it's a megacampaign with Jerusalem, my intention was to maintain cultural integrity of Europe which I did to some degree.

As protectorates/vassals/marches. Only Knights'/Templar will be kept as substates. Rest are going free. Also the colonial game in the new world was pretty much borked, and the only real challenge in the New World is if you convert the meme aztec mod over. I honestly expected more competition in the New World as such an eastern state as Jerusalem probably wouldn't be interested in colonization, but considering it was 1650 and France had JUST colonized the Carolinas I kind of gave up on any AI being worthwhile outside of a neutered GB ai. Problem with conversion games, really.

issue with ck2. I only converted islands and maybe 4-5 provinces in Arabia that were in the desert areas anyways over the entire eu4 game. Besides, I'd imagine holding all of Arabia as a vastly different ethnic group for nearly 800 years would have warranted some culture changes there.

I'm also confident that when I convert to Vic 2 without 90% of my colonies + india, India will actually be #1 by far since arabia is a pretty shit RGO with shitty provinces. Andalusia is actually pretty powerful too as a nearly united Hispania that isn't Spain suffering rebellions every 5 minutes.

I don't mind my country at the top. World police games can be fun.
