"There are 2 combinations that you'd ever want to use.
Corrosive + heat for DEAC shit and vs infested. Corrosive will help against the armor while heat provides a decent dps boost.
Viral + heat for post-DEAC shit. Once you strip their armor via 4x corrosive projection corrosive damage stops doing anything. At this point viral and heat is better, ~90% of the enemies in the void are weak to both and viral is generaly good because it cuts their hp by half. Its also great vs corpus. Viral heat ends up better than using magnetic poison on them.

For void or vs grineer: If you are going solo or in a squad that doesn't have 4 corrosive projections its better to use corrosive+heat as that gets a huge boost to damage vs armored targets, procing its status will also reduce their armor. If you don't have 4 corrosive projections in the squad then the chances are you won't go too high to even worry about armor completely reducing your damage to single/double digits
If you are going in a squad with 4 corrosive projections then viral heat are objectively the best elements as corrosive does not get a damage boost vs enemies with no armor on and you cannot reduce their armor in the negative.

Corpus have no "vs" builds, by the time magnetic procs they'll already be dead/there will be nothing for magnetic to reduce. Its best to use viral heat vs them and just use a mag if you're planning on going super long vs them."

Rapid fire or high damage primary and secondary, have one as impact and the other as puncture. Swap weps to puncture when shields are depleted. Use the holster speed mods you'll inevitably get. Quick melee does 50% damage of wielded melee, but it has its place. Tipedo is a really good choice, high speed good reach for quick melee.

Conclave team does a decent balance job weighting lower tier, lower accuracy weapons with higher tier primes. New changes and weapons added are mostly likely to be over/underpowered since they haven't been balanced out yet.

Affinity booster personally recommended but not necessary.

if you have to choose a single damage type against any target, viral still gives the best average ttk vs anything without armor and corrosive gives the best against anything with it, barring extremely high level or niche shit where you want to mitigate shields (gas, magnetic doesn't hurt) or bypass armor entirely with finisher or armor stripping (or mod for specific targets with alloy) or things like jordas where it has corrosive vulnerable armor but radiation vulnerable hp

the thing is, sometimes you'll get by just as well using the shitter trap combos like magnetic/toxin or the explicitly wrong damage types for given enemies because we have so much damage to spit out and there's little incentive or opportunity to face high level shit anymore

So, I worked hard for Ivara. I solo a lot. I like doing stealth with Loki and shit like that. I really wanted to like her. But she just kind of feels... shit.

Am I missing something? Even before we get to the part where I hate bows, she just feels like she does the whole stealth schtick way worse than Loki or even Banshee, and doesn't even really have any "oh shit" buttons to fall back on like they do.

I mean, I'm supposed to keep prowl up, pickpocket then stealth attack enemies right? But even if I manage to pull that off, with max efficiency and a bit of duration I'm still running dry. And more often than not the enemies will start noticing one anothers' ragdolls or deaths, or the stealth kill will just decide to fuck up for no reason, and the whole process is ruined, sometimes the whole mission cascades and goes on alert from this.

I just can't help but compare it to Loki where I regenerate energy while invisible and thus never run out. It's annoying to find a hidey hole to recast invisibility but it works. And if everything goes to shit decoy and disarm pull my ass out of the fire and can get everyone calmed the fuck back down.

Yeah I think I kind of got it figured out. I was trying to use her as a stealth frame but despite the whole invisibility thing she's more along the lines of crowd control and setting up for finishers. Not really "the stealth frame to end all stealth frames" like everyone was selling her as, but maybe still fun once I get the hang of her.

Where do stealth frames come into play in the game? Every mission I've done felt like a nonstop Zerg race, mowing down dozens of onscreen enemies in seconds .

It's still going pretty strong, but DE keeps getting gayer and Jew-ier. Concurrent players peaked around January and has been gently falling ever since. TWW gave it a decent spike, the biggest spike it's ever had actually, but that's a deceptive spike. Smooth out the line, and the pattern is much more clear.

You're not wrong, but the drops change depending on if you've been detected or not. Obviously you're almost always doing it for a sortie or an alert, but there are a couple of things that it's most effective to get from Spy missions if you know how to do it undetected.

I think I've got the hang of it, thanks to you guys. I was way too focused on the stealth part, just going for pickpocket+kill felt way better to me. I don't feel like I'm ready for multi-hour survivals, but I could see it getting there once I get her optimized and pick up a Rakta Cernos/Dagger.

Figuring out to pop a stealth bubble and let Zenurik recharge my energy in emergencies helped a ton too.

I still like Liki's fast stealth, but Ivara might become my go-to solo survival frame.

Relcom makes slash DOT ticks push the combo counter up. So naturally it's worthless for weapons that arent primarily slash. For weapons that are you want to replace body count with Drifting contact, the extra status chance doesn't hurt anything.

Also I don't even run elements on my slash weapons anymore.

I just use all primed mods, both combo duration mods, relcom, berzerker and spoiled strike or buzzkill if I need to weight the slash a little more.
