Kazakus makes playing Reno decks MUCH easier because he so often makes a game-changing potion that Reno decks now have two ways to cuck you instead of just one. The main weakness of Reno decks was that even if they do get to drop a huge Reno you could still have superior value in the long-game and beat him twice because you still kept your best tools.

Now you can't do that because if you do keep your best stuff it's just going to get polyd, or killed, or frozen, or out-valued by buffs/armor, or any combination of these and you have to beat the warlock in an uphill battle twice instead of just once.

Kazakus is a safety net on top of a safety net.

I dropped tirion from midrange handbuff deck and I'm also playing Leeroy now.
Playing tirion just feels pointless unless you're running only into druids who still can't deal with it. Vs. pirate warrior you typically don't live long enough tirion unless you were about to win anyway, and vs. other popular matchups it just gets stolen, transformed, faceless'd, or removed for cheap and fuck that.

With Leeroy+buffs, at least I punish all these renocucks who think paladin doesn't have big damage from hand and they can tap like morons or just play jaraxxus for free once they stabilize.

They won't. They won't nerf a semi-niche (only useable in certain decks) legendary that you sink 1600 dust into, or buy packs. They may nerf some basic/classic pirates or warrior cards.

They "nerfed" midrange shaman by hitting rockbiter (classic card) and tuskaar totemic (a common card from a set that's rotating out in a few months). Trogg, spirit claws, 0 MANA 5-5 LAWL are all perfectly balanced though.

Pirate warrior is a deck anon, not a card. The deck function as a whole and can kill you even if he doesn't draw buckaneer and start with patches in his hand.

My point is that you are over exaggerating the whole thing. Pirate warrior is merely a new aggro deck, and probably one of the only viable atm. I think people using a pirate package in other more midrange/control deck is actually interesting since it add different tools to what you could normally do.
