Are 2DSs really as nice and comfy as people say they are or is it just poorfags who couldn't afford 3DS rationilizing their purchase?

I really want to play sun/moon but I don't have a DS and I really don't want to pay 200~ essentially for a single game, but I'm having a hard time convincing myself to go with the 2DS over a 3DSXL

If you want to play pokemon and only pokemon, get a 2DS, instead of clicky buttons they have mesh buttons, if you like those more then great, another thing is that the shoulder buttons are a lot more comfy until you need to hold it down for close to a minuite's time, since I tend to press it down with my entire finger as opposed to the other DS models where it was just a fingertip

I got a 2DS as a gift along with Pokemon Y, right after I got a better job and a few games later I decided to do an upgrade, for a week afterwards I was blown away by the screen size of the N3DSXL, for now I'd get the 2DS

I listen to a lot of stuff on Earwolf. Most improv4humans and hollywood handbook. Hollywood handbook is notoriously a bit hard to get into, but once you sort of key into the characters theyre doing its IMO one of the best currently running podcasts.

Improv4humans on the other hand is just straight up improv. Matt besser hosts it, guests are mostly UCB comedians. Just a really consistently funny show.

I havent had any crashes, but just a heads up even on my n3dsxl I just get some pretty significant frame rate issues now and again. Mostly anytime theres more than 2 pokemon in a battle. evening, /nintyg/
a few months ago i posted this on /ink/, speculating about how the splatfest colours were chosen. the gist of it was that callie and marie's ink colours just had their hues shifted by however much, excluding "special" colours (e.g. milk tea vs lemon tea), and that marie's ink was just callie's inverted. turns out that's not the case

for the very, very few that give a shit about this, i found the exact hex codes for callie/marie's ink (#a52b85 and #79b726, respectively) on a spreadsheet. after fucking around in hue/saturation, turns out they're completely different colours. as are the splatfest ones. so the whole ctrl I/hue shifting thing doesn't actually work, making pic related wrong. it's incredibly minor but this place is so dead i'm not sure it matters

fun fact: there's a vocaloid song named 君色に染まる (kimiiro ni somaru), but the splatoon song ink me up is called キミ色に染めて (kimiiro ni somete). so technically, the title of this doujin 君色に染まる世界 (kimiiro ni somaru sekai) is closer to the vocaloid song than the splatoon one.

Is Mario Maker 3ds even worth a pirate? From what I've read, the closest you can come to playing a specific level you saw on the Internet is hoping to see the maker put it together so you can copy those actions in the editor.
It sounds absolutely terrible, unless the 100 levels it gives you for singleplayer are somewhat close to main game level quality.

I'll be having very limited Internet access over the next 5 months and a lot of free time so I'm planning on picking up a 3DS. The games I was considering getting were:

I'll have access to WiFi once a week so I can get some of the Estore content but that'll be it for a while. I'm fine if I can't do everything in the game without Internet, but I don't want anything too restricted by that or anything I really need other players to enjoy. I like RPGs, shooters, and sandbox games the most. Do you guys have any recommendations for other games or opinions on my list?
