It centers the monster in the screen relative to the position of the camera instead of relative to the position of your character.

Like how did they playtest this game and think this wasnt fucking retarded? The single most frequent bug visible at least ten times per hunt and capcom shipped this garbage.

Almost every youtube and twitch stream featuring adept mode aleays has completely whiffed adept evades that run in the completely opposite direction of the monster because the camera focused incorrectly.

Well I always considered it a great punishment for failure. Like when I was a kid and did something stupid like beating up the kid next door I would be put in a corner for like 30 minutes, not allowed to do anything but stare at the wall. I learned very quickly that doing something wrong will result in punishment, in my case boredom for extended period of time.

If you fuck up in MonHun you get punished in a similiar way and must do the jog of shame back to the hunt.

I have a quick question though: Was it confirmed that you'll be able to trasfer your data from MHX to MHXX? I heard something about it from a buddy but he could be completely full of shit.

What is the worst weapon of all time and why is it hammer?

There is absolutely nothing satisfying about picking hammer and getting on average a 5 minute slower run for a single knockout that lasts 20 seconds.

Hammer doesnt do enough stun damage to be useful at the only thing its suppose to be useful at. They never bothered updating it after CB was introduced and they still didnt update it in gen with all the other stunning moves like Shoryugeki. If you don't bring Spinning Meteor and Typhoon Trigger and a traps, you're only getting one KO for the entire hunt.

Adept's problem isn't the retard run, it's most weapons not even having decent followups on their adept dodge.

Adept's issue is that for the vast majority of weapons the moves you get during the adept counters aren't nearly good enough to make up for what you lose out on outside of the adept moves.
At least Brave gives you significant benefits while the gauge is active no matter the weapon, and you enter Brave mode within about 30 seconds.

Since it's less that most hunter arts are trash, and more just that the absolute evasions are WAY too good. Sadly I don't see them being nerfed because the japs love absolute evasion way more than the offensive arts.
