I haven't played the first FNAF game in a long, long time. I encourage anybody who's more into the series for horror to do so if they haven't, as it really is a good game, regardless of the sequels.

I think my favorite moment going back to it tonight was when I heard exhaling and some muttering as Bonnie was moving around.

FNAF 1 and 3 in particular had a very melancholic undertone. Like what was happening was horrifying and fucked up, but it was also tragic, that this place that was supposed to be the pinnacle of childhood innocence became a gruesome nightmare. There's several minigames in 3 that have this very somber tone that I feel is important to have in the background of what made FNAF what it was.

If my life depended on it, if I had to find one thing that I actually liked about the book, it's that it did focus on how fucking awful the entire Fazbear incident was for everyone involved. At the very least, the premise feels grounded. It feels human. Now this is of course lessened by the fact that the book's only fatality is an expendable cop with five minutes of screentime, and the fact that the eponymous homicidal animatronics never actually score a single kill, but it was at least ATTEMPTING to keep a sense of legitimacy to what the original games were instead of jumping straight off the cliff into the camp abyss like fucking SL and its retarded-ass B-movie shit.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that with the original games I actually felt something. Like I was invested. All I get from 4 onwards is a lingering sense of dissapointment and yearning.

Scott really wanted a plot twist for FNAF 6, anon. I hope all this means is that Skinman Mike might appear as an enemy. I think having the phantoms bother you in different ways rather than just staring at them too long would have been better. Whispers in the distance would have been a good touch. When the vents start to fail, having the environment become more decrepit would have added to the overall mood.

FNAF 2's story was actually mostly fine. Only thing I'd change is the chronology of the murders to make it very clear that only five children were killed.

Now the gameplay? That needs a complete overhaul. FUCK the music box, that thing needs to go. There should be a way of deterring the animatronics from actually entering the office, with the mask being only a last resort. That way you don't have eleven fucking guys in a conga line towards your office.

3's story is also fine. I'd keep that as is. Gameplay's a little shaky though. Make the Phantoms avoidable instead of RNG hell and for god's sake make that wimpy jumpscare noise a little more forceful.

4's story needs to be expunged and reworked from the ground up. Just fuck the whole thing, seriously. I don't even know HOW I would fix that, it's a complete mess, an affront to the very art of storytelling. The gameplay's pretty solid though, but I'd change the Nightmare designs to be less generic and more organic/repulsive.

SL honestly should not have been made. It's terrible.

FNAF 2 would be a sequel. I have no idea how to write a game so brace yourself.

I'd retain the idea of newer, more marketable robots replacing the first game's crew. Instead of minigames, the story's hinted at through audio messages you can unlock and hallucinations. There's a room you can't access or view just like the Kitchen in the first game. This would be where they store the broken robots.

Near the end of Night 3, the first game's Freddy would activate, or something that looks exactly like it. This would be Phone Guy, who rips apart the new robots. He's sabotaging the restaurant in hope of being freed from this existential agony.

I'd allude to this by depicting Phone Guy as a deranged figure whose audio is derived entirely from his voice as a human. Clipping together sentences like "You'll-never-see-the-light-of-day again" and "Eyes-and-teeth". Maybe establish him as a friendly voice before the reveal, with him giving you the rundown on the night shift like he did in the first game.

I do like some of the new faces at least. Bonnet is adorable, and the Minireena facehuggers as well. Yenndo spooked me at first, and Foxy's new jumpscare is great. Replacing my one-word answer, Springtrap works so much better without the twist because it's poetic irony, and echoes of Freddy Krueger without being a straight ripoff. I sincerely hope that Scott's just fucking with us, dangling that red herring, and doesn't actually make Mike Springtrap just because it would give people something to talk about. Springtrap is so effective as a character not because he's gory but because it's ironic. The gore is a factor, yes, but the concept of a childkiller killed by his own instrument hearkens back to Freddy Krueger, reinforcing the series' roots in 80's horror flicks. His history lends him a presence that is rivaled by few others.

To throw away all that for the sake of a twist would be extremely moronic.

Not going to lie I'm slightly unhappy with LC's last chapter. Timmy had the whole talk about abstaining and had seemed willing to sit the house's heat out to properly woo the rabbot. Then Indy gets the surprise visit from Grandad, a character so respected and borderline feared that he cools the hot headed rabbit's heels, saying "Yo take a while and think about how others and Timmy feel, maybe talk about it as a family first."
But nope, instead of even a token effort on restraining herself, having Miss Yella pry the details of what happened in the kitchen, getting Indy's thoughts while expressing her own on Tim, maybe fooling around after getting hot n bothered over the subject of him, then having Red catch Timmy in a reversal of before or Mr. Brown having woken from the nap interrupt TimTam's peeping - the story went

I mean I know the next chapter will most likely start off with the shit hitting the fan either from whoever they missed standing at the door, Indy going on a hunt for Red, Timmy having to heal Red's hurt (newly developed) feelings, Timmy freaking out that Indy was potentially going to rape him and if his choice was genuine or coerced out of fear for himself and Red etc. but I feel like another sexless chapter could've helped set up the drama while having a chance to deal with the implications of Red coming out the closet.
Personal plot gripes aside, I did enjoy the chapter's lewd bits. You teased even more of Miss Yella while delivering a taste to keep me hooked for her own eventual chance in the spotlight. The sex was pleasingly done and the small details like Indy's black fluids, sweat dripping along her metal bits, claws drawing blood, and all that steam, are appreciated. While new to the story Grandad and Shorty made an interesting pair further lending an air of mystery to the whole dimension Timmy finds himself in when asleep.

I had actually missed the segment of Timmy dealing with reality in his crippled form because I feel it adds a bittersweet flavor to a curse turned blessing. I actually found it unsettling that Indy pulled Timmy back to Home because there was no indication they could do that instead of the usual forced awakening.

I wonder if it's your plan to go the harem route. That it's less about choosing for Timmy or winning for anyone in particular and more about each of them coming to know Timmy in a carnal manner. It works in a way because so far Red's was antagonistic because that's how they've interacted for so long and Indy's was a rough and tumble affair that felt so relaxed going straight to casual talk/soon to be interrogation without even letting Timmy slip out of her. Miss Yella seems to be building on a foundation of motherly concern and Timmy still being confused on his feelings of lovin' Mama more than a surrogate son should. Mr. Brown is chill enough that I could see him making Timmy an offer next time they're in the garden. I can only assume the creepy doll at blowjob height will return from the attic to play in the future as well. Guess I'll have to wait and see while keeping my faith in you.

Hopefully the next chapter won't take as long.

Sweet, some constructive criticism and some world-expanding opportunities, I'm glad I stayed up late enough to draw a Lolbit.

Chapter 3 ended with him mulling over what Indy meant to him and with 4 approaching the situation rationally rather than letting Indy's head games force the decision. In any case, Indy is not one to wait, she forced his hand, and would have done so either way. What I wanted that moment to show was that Timmy taking Indy was an inevitability, the only difference the heat made is that it went from 'in the future way off' to 'right the fuck now'. Regarding Grandad and discussing it as a family, that's a big part of what set her off, she HATES thinking of their group as a family. That's more Miss Yella's thing, and Mister Brown more a general mentor. It's Timmy that obsesses over it. Indy may have had a huge crush on him way before the story even began, and now that she finally has a way to express her adoration physically, to be told to 'hold back' now of all times has to hurt bad.

In any case, I'm really happy to read this because you seem to get that what happened last chapter was NOT morally okay, there wasn't a completely right or painless answer, and a lot of character responses are handled by impulse, and at least one of them is gonna get bit in the ass for it later. I'm glad Grandad and Shortbread got some attention, I was extremely cautious on bringing more FNAF4 characters in, but I think they'll make good little additions from time to time.

I'm gonna jump into chapter 5 soon, I have some big ideas, some that will be a bit morally iffy (one which might make Indy's 'kinda sorta rape' look like dust in the wind) but will go a long way into progression. I can't guarantee a sexless chapter, it is a lewdfic, just one where character takes higher priority than usual. The problem being that two of the characters (at least) are very sexually charged.

That reminds me of my biggest annoyance in Custom next to removing the different jumpscare noises. He gave the impression of letting you choose mouse or keyboard, with Lolbit working on both. But no keyboard option for Bonnet's nose OR cam flipping. Would have been so easy to implement as my mouse is garbage and I love using the keyboard to play.
