Shadow Priest is currently the highest skill for damage trade-off, but it doesn't mean just reaching 3rd VoiT its more about how you make use of your Surrender window and play around things like dragons fear or nyth mc.

Whats up with rogues? Do the devs just hate them or something? I started one and was leveling for a bit, its slower than pretty much anything else i tried with heirlooms. Also gets no decent skills until around 30-40+ doesn't get sprint until lvl 32. I joined a battleground at 19 and i do hardly any damage to people at all. I went for the priest and he pretty much just ignored me while he was healing other people, he got like 4 casts off before i even broke his bubble then turned around and destroyed me with penance and i didnt take him below 90%. Literally nothing i can do in battlegrounds except wait for the enemy to be busy attacking someone else so i can apply my warlock dot tier damage.
At least in vanilla wow the lower levels were somewhat balanced and had fun abilities given to you at the lower levels. This is just awful.

Well, there are exactly 9 competent players from the left over guild. We've recruited 3 more super solid members, so ideally like 12 good players. We have a few questionable dps (part of a package sadly), and four god horrid healers.

Our tanks are some of the best, melee dps isn't retarded and ranged dps that we know are good are disciplined to do mechanics no matter what.

What's really kicking our ass is our healers. The given "good players" are 4/7 and seen most of Ilgynoth, but the new recruits are pretty bad to be honest. I know this doesn't sound very good but I'm being honest. The new healers are holding the group back, like, healers die first on Mythic Nythendra bad.
If we can replace our healers, we can easily skyrocket through the content honestly, if you need further details, you can share your bnet and I'd love to chat?

On fights where I can stay on something for the full duration and get two FoF out and 3 RSK then it's worth it, but on fights where I switch targets frequently or I can't dps for a full 25 seconds uninterrupted then I use serenity.

That's not correct, a large portion of the community actually use WDP, especially on multi-target because they think WDP is the aoe talent even if serenity is better on st. The best players in the world are unencumbered by guides and they choose Serenity on every fight. Mega rewrote the simc apl for hinalover because even he didn't know how to play serenity properly and it was simming below WDP at the start before anyone knew to use it and did consistently better than every other WW in the world during the first few weeks of EN

the boots work perfectly fine with the bracers, since during the sef duration instead of using bok you use sck and energizing elixir, which is higher dps than bok even at 0 stacks/1 target and with the boots you'd have a fuck load more chi to spend for the duration

you'd be doing more dps if you specced into EE and dumped a lot of chi during SEF into sck, especially with dhc

Honestly the two talents have their uses on different fights. SEF is only good if you get 100% of its use with the bracers meaning you need 25 seconds of continuous dps(no running away to avoid shit) to make it worth it... but on a fight like ilgy you'd use serenity because you'd be hard-pressed to get 2 FoF inside the SEF duration when you're running everywhere

I feel like most people have gotten their fix and moved on. And if you continue playing as you have been for years, doesnt your subconscious start to creep up on you reminding you how many opportunities you're wasting exploring new games or hobbies by playing this old ass game? What's there to gain by continually playing this?

I was playing daily a few months ago because it was just a habit. But I haven't played since the middle of October I feel pretty good about finally taking the proverbial blinders and shackles off and being free. I have zero desire to return ever again. It's essentially the same game I played since BC when I started but dumbed down and casualized with no sense of reward or progression.
