Hi guys, I bought my ps4 some days ago and started on this game.
I read the pastebin and some builds on bloodborne-wiki but some things aren't still clear to me.

What's the best build to use that badass scythe weapon from the gherman?
I like that scythe, the blades or mercy and the dual swords that Maria uses.
What type of build Im looking for?

Pure skill, you cancerous faggot.
You're looking at going 50/15/25/50, most likely. Military Veteran will leave you at 103. Either drop VIT by 5 if you care about the 98 meta, or add points in other stats until you're happy if you don't.

The good news is that Skill is one of the better builds in the game, only really being outclassed by pure quality 50/50 builds. You have the easiest endgame gem farm, the most damaging viscerals, and some of the better PvP weapons in the game. Skill is pretty easymode.

Im just going by the style factor since I like how these weapons look and how the attack animations.
I don't know much about/care meta, super specific gems or things like that because I don't play pvp, but I wanted my build to be functional since I remember on Demon Souls how I went to some bizarro 10 on EVERYTHING then 20 on everything and so on build and it sucked ass because I didn't knew better.

It's worth noting that those weapons can be pretty late game. The Scythe is literally only able to be bought after killing the final boss. BoM, oyu either need to finish an NPCs questline, or murderer her early. Rakuyo is after the second to last DLC boss.

Don't go into this thinking you're going to play through the game with these weapons. You're going to either use the cane or the saw spear for a large bulk of the early game at the very least.

Why do you fags get so boodblasted when someone doesn't follow your 98-117 meta? I have 3 characters at Level 150, not because of reddit, but because that's where I feel I'm sufficiently powerful enough to take on Depth 5 FRCs and NG+ with an enormous summon level range to coop and pvp with. You miss out on the ability to easily farm for top-tier Blood Gems via Glyphs, but that matters more for PvP than PvE, which you also miss out on due to no online.
Fortunately, you can buy all Chalice ritual ingredients from the Bath Messenger/Insight Messengers in NG+, meaning you can still create your own Chalices as much as you want.

There is, however, this one specific Bloat-Head that is just stupid. Past the dark room where a Bload-Head on a bed begs you to kill him, there is a taller one upstairs that has some kind of stand as a weapon and he moves so weirdly fast that it just looks really bizarre and stupid. He's not the enemy that moves like that in the game but for some reason, this one annoyed me more than any other. i think its because he looked so goofy swinging that weapon around unnaturally fast while going 'AAUUGH" was ruining the mood for me.

Is the stamina curse the rarest curse on heavy abyssals or am I just unlucky? I've gotten at least 20-30 HAs, nearly half of them had the HP depleting curse, and the other half was evenly split between the rest except for stamina, which only appeared once (and of course it had a shitty secondary effect)

I think they are meant to be evenly distributed, but the RNG is streaky and weird. I once got 9 health downs in a row, but the next day farming the same guy I didn't get a single health down in 30 gems.

For a heavy abyssal Kin Down is good, as long as you have one weapon gemmed to work against kin, Kin down is the best curse for everything else. It's only 4 bosses and a few mobs (who all have low health anyway).

Iirc someone did some testing and found that it didn't. Make sure you aren't hitting multiple objects/enemies, hitting stuff can lower durability.

Healing is too easy and too much, forcing every enemy and boss to be able to one shot you or combo you to death for them to be difficult. The hardest bosses in the game such as Ludwig are hard because they pressure you so much you don't really have time to heal after a mistake forcing you to wait which opens you up to more mistakes that will finish you off

Rather, I think the bosses were made that way in tandem with the healing system, rather than in response to it. That kind of pressure makes it so that you can't just back away and heal whenever, you have to pick the right time to do so, and then they give you a lot so if you're off by just a little bit, it's not always a OHKO. At least that's how it's been for me. Also, the fact that it's quick means you can get back in the action and be aggressive right away, which is the name of the game here.

I never had to experience her moveset because all I did was bait her headslam and hit her head till she staggered and then did a visceral. That takes her to about half health and when she's about to go to phase 2, I literally just get right under her and keep slamming her with my weapon. She's usually dead before she can do anything.

What exactly is the trick to avoid Amygdala one hit kill fall attack in the defiled chalice. First time in the game I used the beckoning bell and it didn't even matter since it would still kill me that way when I got to his last phase.

I just beat him solo, but I still feel like I was just lucky in always rolling to a good place.

I felt like he occasionally appeared a few steps ahead so staying still below him didn't work well. Best I could do was staying close to his leg and moving in the diagonal away from him assuming he can't move that way, and waiting the last second to dodge just for a second bet on the invincibility frames. Predicting his head was hard, although if it was close when he fell I always went for some hits.

I still lost many times before getting him, and barely using any blood vials since his other attacks were usually very easy to predict and dodge.

Try to reposition myself to a spot that works, hitting the tail a few times can help too. The combo swipes have a distinct start up so it's easily avoidable.

Stand at the tip of the tail and Amy won't do that move, only stomp and jump. Stomp is trivial to avoid and if it jumps, charge an R2 and aim 180 degrees away from where the head was. Then roll back through the legs and back to the tip of the tail.

Arc build arguably gets more of out chalice dungeons since you get juicy elemental gems. But you can clear all of them with any build.

Trying a playthrough only using cane in whip mode. Did a FRC Ihyll and holy shit that was the easiest HBLB kill ever. The dodge attack does tons of damage and once you're in position to spam a few R1s it cripples multiple limbs at once.

Chalices don't get harder with NG+ cycles, they're totally static, it's up to you when you go in, really. At BL50 you might have some trouble, though, especially if you're not actually in Ihyll or anything.

Cutter is fine. Untricked is fast enough, and tricked has great CC for groups and shit. Plus, it hits so far away, so you can use it to cheese through walls and whatnot.

It does, in my opinion, but that's only my opinion. The games faster, and it's designed to be played entirely with dodging, so everything is 100% able to be dodged through.

Most weapons are outclassed by Saws but Cutter is fine. It's probably the only weapon able to hit Keeper if he glitches through the wall and goes up the ceiling. All the attacks do Pure Blunt damage so if you get really lucky you can slot it with 32.6% Blunt gems from Watchers unless you were an Arcane build.
