item level is different than required level. you must meet the proper item level for said item to roll more and more sockets.

a level 4 unique can drop in a lvl 30 zone and bam, item level 30, max 5 sockets. if the same unique drops in a level 50 zone, it's item level 50 and can have 6 sockets.

I was missing only the piercing truth trial to unlock uber and I couldn't get past the last segment using 4 portals. Fuck that trial to fucking hell.

Also, essence drain is semi-godmode in breaches. Pretty sure I'm regening up to 6k ES/second because of all the mobs. I've literally seen by ES drop to 2k and I'm full a second later.

My all time 3 favorite bugs of the league so far:

1. Masters teleporting next to you when you complete a mission can prevent you from picking up items underneath them, luckily I lost an aug orb to these shenanigans.

2. Getting so close to death in a map that i died on my buddies screen and he couldn't see me although i was still fighting alongside him and picking shit up.

3. Clicking on map portals and having them just disappear with the text "entering Dunes..." or etc perpetually at the top of the screen, while being able to walk around but not zone out or even log out without closing path entirely.

it's been a magical first week.

I could use some help with my bladeflurry guy, i'm playing hc for the first time and recently switched to CI (at 8k ES).

My problem is that i came close to dying a lot of times already in the first map i did. I can't use health flasks anymore, my only leech comes from doryani's, if i use blood rage for leech it slowly kills me.

Act 2 is easy to just sprint through, since there isn't any annoying bullshit you need to find like the Ribbon Spool or Thaumetic Sulphite, and the areas are all super linear.

It has to be pathfinder for goes-real-fast, CI for can't-be-one-shot-by-buffed-Izaro and blade vortex is probably still the best stand-still-and-tank skill you can use on him.

I suppose you could make an unkillable gladiator or juggernaut with block or something like that, but then your go-to skill would be blade flurry.

If you absolutely have to abandon ship on a breach (read: all of them in merciless since you're confined to a circle against AoErape mobs), once you get out of the circle never stop running until you hear blipping sounds signifying the monsters getting sent back.

Even with voidheart and a reasonable setup EQ juggernaut, like 5L Marohi and 5L Belly, you'll struggle on the harder Izaro fights. You don't have the damage to blow him up without a great deal of gear and tweaking and you're going to be taking a lot of damage on elemental buff Izaros which you can't leech back fast enough. You also won't be able to do some of the other combinations like charges + gargoyles. And also for lieutenants and essences you probably can't pop the fight fast enough to stop the minibosses from killing themselves since all your damage is AoE.

I tried it last league. Was pretty shitty compared to pre-nerf. I ended up just running lab on my TS deadeye or my assassin instead because it was ten times easier to kill Izaro and Argus without needing to worry about the day's layout and buffs.

You might also consider a barrage raider I suppose. They probably go fucking fast and way cheaper than 3 exalts. Pretty high being-one-shot potential though on +speed buff sword Izaros. I guess if you have a basalt and a Kintsugi and chaos golem and whatever the fuck else you should be okay.

When am I actually supposed to grab Acrobatics? Typically I grab it around the 50-60's but now I'm 75 without it doing <5 maps just fine. I never really understood the timing of when to get it.

Took me ~13 hours as both SRS summoner and Wild Strike Raider and I'm pretty slow. Make sure you're only doing required content and taking every possible shortcut. Leveling uniques speeds you up as well.

I did CI Essence Drain last league.

Its the most effortless mapping i have ever done. Ended up at level 92 and could easily have gone further if i hadn't ended up drowning in work.

It is pretty safe due to the fact that you pop Contagion and Essence Drain and then run away until everyone is dead. Use Wither in a spelltotem to help against bosses.

If you get a Essence of Delirium the clearspeed is pretty good. Nothing like Blade Vortex but pretty damn good.

Biggest advantage is that with luck you can clear a four screen radius of enemies with just one casting each of Contagion and Essence Drain.

There is a bit more work than the one skill builds, but it is not hard. Withertotem (if there are bosses)-Contagion-Essence Drain.

I'd say go as a Raider, going for Projectile nodes for your damage to scale all the added elemental damage you'd be getting.

I don't have a build, but "get the projectile damage nodes" and getting a nice elemental rapier, along with maxing your frenzy charges is all there is to it.

You run through normal like mad only fighting the juiciest blue packs to not fall too far behind with levels.

Actually fighting things on normal is a complete waste of time, the exp you'll run away from can be gotten back in 15 minutes in merciless.

They made it so that you have a 20% chance on hit to gain a charge on Rare or Unique enemies.

The Onslaught would total 40% Attack, Cast, and Movement Speed, and the "More" evasion bonuses are nice as well, but I think I'll go for the Phasing path, mainly for the Elemental Status immunity. I don't think I'd need Phasing, but I've never played with nonstop phasing before, so it might feel good.

I think going for both Frenzy and Onslaught might be better for a Spell build due to all the Cast Speed you can get from it. Wands also get poor movement options because Lightning Warp is bad and can use Shield Charge with it, so Wander could be a good option too.
