Old nost i had ~100-120 ping. Was perfectly playable outside of short periods of REEEEEEEEEEEEEEe crashes

Kronos I had 200-250 ping at all times. Unplayable for me.

Elysium stress test i had 130-150 ping at first, which is playable. But then the server lag started kicking it, and then my ping spiked up to 400+ as well.

I was / sometimes retail. I still play Legion. But I play more and more on private servers these days. I won't say which specific server's but they are vanilla & TBC, they had the best talent trees and that's that. Legion is my final expansion with Blizzard unless they release retail vanilla and legacy servers. I am very much looking forward to Nost. I will play on Nost for vanilla and the other private server for TBC.

Most roleplayers remaining in WoW are firmly in the camp that feels that only guild stuff really "matters".
"Walk-up" roleplaying is pretty uncommon even on places like Moon Guard (ignoring the obvious goldshire degeneracy).
Most of them let the game be the game and reserve their "serious" roleplaying to guild activities or planned events. Servers like Emerald Dream use wpvp stuff with backstories they make up and expand upon -- tho even there wpvp is mostly dead outside of pre-planned events.

also it should be obvious, but roleplayers use transmog, but i would imagine there are tons of bios around now that incorporate the legion story and use ashbringer and all that.
Regardless of what any roleplayer will tell you, there isn't a ton of point to RP in WoW anymore outside of typing dirty shit to other guys.

I was getting 150ish from Oregon. I wasn't in any of the stress tests tho, i mean from when elysium was up.
To compare, got 300ish to K2, and 180ish normally on old nost.
My internet is shit and nothing i can do about it, but it was playable. Not sure why k2 was worse. Old nost would have some really shitty lag from time to time tho, especially during china hours.
