Sometimes you bump into small shinto shrines and small Buddhist statues here and there.
And the ages follow certain colour themes, which looks pretty unique.

My favourites are pretty much the 4 fast weapons.

Sickle&Scythe is fast and awesome since it allows me pseudo flight.
Knives is also fast, and I like its easy to maneuver air mobility.
Naginata is FAST once you get into Hype.
Finally Gauntlets. You'd think it's super slow, but once you get the super Mitamas, the Flurry attack speed becomes perpetual and you end up on par with the other fast weapons in raw attack speed.

Use it on certain equipment to make them better. Try it on 大鎌 and the longsword. You can turn them back to the original state but prefixes are removed permanently

You could sorta use it to combine status recovery items with their puchi versions and free up inventory slots but this is no longer necessary after the patch

Yes, definitely. Originally there are some problems with the load time, but it looks okay after the improvement, considering how the battle system works.

Other than magazines, the reports are pretty promising.

The two main selling points are the branching story, which changes depending on your choice, and a very intensive battle system. The latter might be a turn off for some people, perhaps, since it is pretty involved.

The choice thing happens right at the start from what I've read, where you can choose one of the four protagonists. It also happens throughout the game, though I'm not sure how frequent.

They're somewhat different compared to DC, they're much more story centric and Muramasa didn't really have different playable characters until the DLC since both default characters play exactly the same. They both have two sword types to use from and can cycle between three in a fight. The differences between the swords lie in their special attack.

The DLC characters are all far more unique than the vanilla game characters and have skill trees instead of sword unlocks.

Odin Sphere Leifdrasir is a straight upgrade to the Muramasa gameplay because it lets you use multiple skills at once without limits like Muramasa's 1 sword = 1 skill limit and you can freely map them. You need to play the characters in a linear order so your favorite fighting style might be one of the earlier books, or one of the later books. But like all vanillaware games it suffers from a lot of recycled bosses, so you'll be fighting similar bosses over every book with a new one or two thrown in and the orders mixed up.


Also the more characters you use in DC the more exhausting it gets to manage the good loot, it'd be better if the total inventory size was bigger.

Playing Steins;Gate 0, got my first ending the Gehenna one, last one on the clear list.

Damn son, I felt exhausted after witnessing that. The feeling when you knew what was going on with Okabe and Maho in the hotel room, oh man. And holy shit, Okabe's voice acting performance when talking to Leskinen afterwards, freaking incredible. It legitimately hurt at the part where Maho told Mayuri all that stuff.

Also not that Leskinen being a villain wasn't obvious, but come on, why the hell are the blonde foreigners always the villains? Is it just an overused cliche, or does this come from Japan's xenophobic side or something?

Yup. Maho was in huge pain and even more after all that. She had the shittiest luck.

And it will be a wild ride, but really worth it. Enjoy. I platted the game in 3 days, would have done it even sooner if I didn't have other stuff to deal with. Such an enjoyable ride, definitely my GOTY even if it is a VN.

Yep, same here. Somehow they managed to make her more fleshed out here, probably due to Kagari bits and how greatly she handled that situatuation. HanaKana also did awesome job at these scenes too when she was talking about Hikoboshi and Orihime. Man, those were probably my favourite moments of zero to be honest.

Though I still liked Maho more, but that's another thing.

The idea is, Okabe's actions now influence who gets the time travel info from Amadeus, and if Leskinen gets it he'll send Kagari back with some info for his past self.
But if Leskinen doesn't get it she just ends up as a host for Kurisu's memories.

Up until then I seriously believed they were putting Kagari's memories into others to manipulate them.
