You're also the moron for not realizing that the "ONLY 3 LESS DAMAGE" is exactly the same ratio of adjustment Blizzard has used when they reduced Discord from 50 to 30%. It's always meant to end up doing 60 damage on discorded targets.

Literally nothing would change for you personally as Zen, but the tank meta would be weakened. Because when 50% was too strong and 30% is obviously too weak and we have 3-4 tank setups emerging, then MAYBE, JUST MAYBE the middle ground that Blizzard so adamantly always refuses to try might be right.

I guess first impressions are everything. I went as Junkrat because I was comfortable playing as him, some dude on our team keeps questioning my choice eventhough I was getting kills and pushing to objective.
So I decided to switch to Zenyatta since I like to play as him as a healer. After we hold on to the objective, everyone on the team (I stayed on the objective, this was in Lijang Tower garden) push towards the enemy spawn and everyone got annihilated.

I feel the same way, I just played him a few matches today and if you stay active and keep changing positions it really fucks people up. I feel like people are so comfortable with the game now that when you do something out of the ordinary, they don't know how to deal with it.

I feel like people gave up on Bastion after the first couple weeks, and didn't try to develop his playstyle or see how he would fit into the developing meta.

Just continually firing down a corridor is a crazy amount of space control. People expect you to stop firing when you're not hitting anything, so they usually pop out after a couple seconds and just end up taking my stream to their face because I was still shooting. You can just hold fire on a chokepoint or doorway when you know people are there, and they have to choose between being pinned down there for several seconds or running through it and taking a good chunk of damage.

I have less than an hour of playtime on this character but whenever I play him I do extremely well. I feel like Overwatch is at the stage where you can really start playing with people's expectations and psychology, and Bastion is a huge blind spot in most people's experience with the game since launch.

McCree in his prime was the click on heads hero. You clicked on their head. If you stunned them, you clicked on their head twice and they either died instantly, or died to a light breeze, because now they couldn't move and right click was stupidly inaccurate and would often miss even point blank.

I actually have no fucking clue how I do it.

I'll try to give the best advice I can, but honestly this is basic stuff I knew going into this.

Place your turret where the enemy team won't be looking normally, but also somewhere they'll be distracted so they can't turn around. Your turret has a really small cooldown time and it doesn't build ultimates for the enemy team. You can abandon it if it's too risky.

For attacking on most maps, this is usually where a Defense Torb would put a turret. Be stealthy, people have an odd amount of tunnelvision for Swedish manlets. Learn the maps to find flank routes that keep you out of sight until you're setting up. Sometimes you'll just have to settle for dropping a turret on the payload though (namely if your team is 4 DPS that won't touch it to save their lives)

For Defense, again, learn the maps. For example, on Hanamura A, most Torbs put it somewhere behind the choke doors, you want to go past it and place it either in 2nd floor of house, or the side of the bridge (so it won't shoot at players until they've already engaged your team at choke, and would have to turn around, leaving them open).

Don't underestimate your gun, it's actually really good. Obviously it's not the best, but both methods of fire are really decent at what they're for.

Spam armor packs. All fucking day, everywhere. Chase those scrap piles on the point after 11 people die like it's the second-coming of Jesus. Drop them fucking everywhere. 200 scrap is basically 300 armor for your team (or you). You should never have 200 scrap, but at the same time you should always be looking for more. Worst-case scenario if you're capping out just drop one somewhere nearby and remember it for later. It's also one of the easiest ways to get cards if you're into that.

Ult timings are everything. It's really good and lasts nearly forever. You can even ult without a turret because it gives you a fuckton of armor and boosts the fire rate of all your weapons.

I often transform mid jump around a corner that's safe and focus on tanks, builds ult super fast.

When you have a winston, mei, rhein or (soon) symm you can use those few seconds of safety provided to set up and the enemy will HAVE TO deal with you.

I still hope for a small buff though. My dream is a movement speed increase while leaving/entering turret mode.
