On a side note, why is Colossus Smash on a 10 second cd? They do know thats damage, a charge, and 30% uptime on vulnerability in 1 ability right? I get its an ult and comes with a downside, but... seems a bit silly hearing Varian yell every 10 seconds as he bludgeons someone to death.

Why and who said this? Grubby admited (after constantly say he was OP) that his kit was awful, barely damaged or made any difference on the battlefield, had to use his 3 skills to barely kill a wave (have to AA to finish) giving him awful waveclear, and is really squishy with no real sustain.

In addition to what others have said, some talents can be useful to counter certain enemy heroes. eg. picking attack speed reduction to counter basic attack-focused heroes.

Also, I don't think anyone has mentioned specifically that this game is objective-focused, which forces periodic teamfights.

This is true but hots is a simple game I could easily adapt and get GM. The people in GM now I played with in old ranked/qm regularly and I had a fairly high win rate against them. Again you could argue I used old KT and old Rehgar (who nobody really played the way I did, least I never saw.) Obviously this is all talk and I sure as hell am not going to grind the games out to prove it but whatever.
Hotslog mmr was always gameable to an extent so I suppose that's not very credible either.

Nah for level 20 you 100% want ignore pain it's too good. Fury gen doesn't do much imo. Level 4 you want focused attacks, build is about burst damage. You can also take spell shield at 13 if you feel you'll need it.

Holiday season. For the fucking murricans, Christmas isn't enough of a media stall, they need an excuse to do nothing for a month more with this thanksgiving shit.
And Blizzcon was also pretty shitty this year. Only 2 heroes, both with not really innovative skillsets. For the last two years Blizzcon was 4 new heroes, one of them a mega-gimmick. This year we got 2 melee assassins...

Though, I am pretty surprised they will actually make a Christmas brawl on a somewhat custom map. I hope they plan to reuse the snowy tileset for a future regular map.

I play Mines, offensive Hat, and Locust builds and all generally do well. His only bad build seems to be support. Every shield talent I take seems to decrease my chances of winning.

Vol'jin, Specialist but supports a little like Medivh. First ability sacrifices some health in an area from minions (both ally and enemy) which will heal your allies 20% more to you for self sustain. Used if your minion wave is losing and you wanna do a mini wave clear or you need to top yourself off. Second is a totem, shoots poison that grants sight. Third is redirects damage and healing to a target for example if alarak does his counter you can put all damage on your warrior so he can't pull it off.

Design meant to be slow down on burst so the enemy should be a little more cautious.

This is the exact reason the shield build is viable in QM, it heals minion waves as well as your teammates in fights.

Hat your friendo sometimes, press E to heal, go hat something else. Your teammate will have to back less for hp/take well, considering globes are p gud now as well.

There's plenty of representation for the NPCs of Warcraft, but what about the players of WoW? There's literally millions of them, and without them Blizzard would never be what they are now. To this end, why not have a party of adventurers, 5 to be exact, and have them struggle against the various raid bosses of WoW and Diablo for that next tier set they need?

Q - Draw Aggro - Tank charges at a target, dealing damage and causing the hero to be unable to attack any target but Raid Party. Though it could be talented to include spells, initially only basic attacks would be redirected to Raid Party.

W - Heal - Healer either A. Heals a hero for a large amount if RP is at high health B. Resurrects a RP member and restores low health in an area, or C. Resurrects multiple members of RP, and heals nothing.

E - FOCUS THAT MOB! - DPS focuses on a target, dealing heavy damage over time. This is a semi channeled ability; Basic attacks are inactive during this time, but RP can still move, and cast Q, W and D if it is not related to DPS.

D - Extra Member - At level 1, you select to either have an extra healer, tank or DPS. Whatever you pick, your trait cast is now a weaker version of that ability. If you selected DPS, this trait is entirely passive.

R1 - LEEEEEROOOOY - Changes the healer to Leeroy Jenkins. Leeroy Jenkins heals slightly less than the default healer, but in exchange, your ultimate causes him to run a great distance at a target, with the rest of RP following behind. This is much like Butcher's Ruthless Onslaught or Tyrael's Judgement, but instead of stunning the ability does heavy damage and disables W for 5 seconds.

R2 - Raid Leader - Adds a leading member to the group, increasing the power of all abilities by 20%. When activated, the leader inspires RP to hit a target very hard, and very fast; the bonus is increased to 50%, and all nonheroics refresh 3 times faster for 5 seconds.

I can't for the life of me win a game with stitches.

I get confused on what objectives to push versus outright team fighting and either make it to an objective without a damage dealer and everybody else, or the damage dealer gets picked off before I can make it to them to help.

Sometimes I eat the wrong player, but I'm not even sure I'm supposed to take gorge.

What's going on here?

Earth - Melee attacker that grants non-stacking, small block charges periodically.
Air - Ranged attacker that reduces nearby ally's cooldowns by 1 second every 2.5 seconds.

The point of Rokhan is to be a medium to somewhat high damage Ranged Specialist with a great amount of non-CC or damage ignoring (IE. Medivh's Barrier) oriented utility. A team player, really.

One hero I'm having trouble with is Valla. Do lots of damage and get takedowns, but die a lot. Don't feel like I have the optimal build really. Can't decide between multishot, hungering arrow, or hatred / AA.

What are people's favorite Valla builds?

Any advice to someone who is new at playing a tank? This is my first moba. I always get shook and try to bail too soon, especially if there isn't a support around.
