Considering that Rance 5D and Rance VI will be released within the next couple of months, there's no real point in starting another translation project, as for Rance Quest and Rance IX, the script is too long to be translated in anything less than over a year, which, considering the health of the thread as it stands, the thread would die way before either translation would be released. I agree that Rance 1 could be done in a relatively short period of time if the hacking isn't awful, not sure how large Rance VI is, however.

Its used instead of FIFA because it has a coach mode where you have AI v AI with the player able to change tactics and make substitutions.

The family bonuses allow you to start your game with some of the characters of the different families. From memory, if you take Uesugi, you'll start the game with Kenshin and Ao. You'll automatically start the game at war with those countries, but they can't touch you until they're adjacent to your country. Other than Uesugi, from memory, there's also one eye, Mouri, Takeda, Shoujo. The kill the monkey allows you to unlock a fourth route where the plot is basically forfeit, allowing you to take as many turns as necessary to get certain events (mostly family bonuses).
